  1. Hi...despite trying different settings on emanage....engine will only start using Easy Start...then runs fine ....I've a new O2 sensor on order but I've been told that the ecu doesnt read it while cranking....looking for more ideas of possible causes please! thanks Dave S
  2. Hi...need to borrow a known good O2 sensor......please please please may be the cause of my probs......but Toyota want £140 + for it ...?? bit expensive to buy on spec. many thanks Dave S

  4. couple of things ....after you left I took it off the axle stands and tried it in gear......I get warning beeps in reverse and it wont move???.... going to check a few things tomorrow and give you a call if thats ok?? cheeers Dave

At last my new 'built' engine is finally running .... major thanks go to Slowdog for ultimately solving the problems and coming up to Ealing from Basingstoke on a cold Sunday afternoon.... also like to thank IanC and Matt Harwood for their help with the emanage and alarm probs....... lots more work to do yet next stage is to get it moving and and an mot!!! cheeers Dave S

  7. Thanks Terminator......I'm hoping this not being plugged in is stopping the engine from starting....the warning light comes up on the dash.... does the warning triangle appear when Ign switched on??? cheeers Dave S
  8. I'm assembling a car I didnt take apart....I know the sensor is usually cable tied out the way when de-catted....just maybe someone has lifted the carpet in the drivers footwell and seen where the connector goes cheers Dave
  9. Having trouble finding the connector for the cat temp sensor once it goes through the floorpan....anyone know where it should be ??? cheeers Dave S

  12. really would be pleased to be wrong....but it aint communicating...
  13. it doesnt communicate with PC or E01....so cant import ,export,or update.....in support tool the green light ,top rhs flashes continuously....in E01 ERR flashes in the top bar...prob need to send back to Greddy..... cheeers Dave
  14. its supposed to read the settings directly and give version info etc..........the ports not communicating...it was working fine a couple of days ago....seems like the ECU connector probs I have has taken it out...

  17. 2 different usb cables and the special cable that comes with the support tool....
  18. Help..need to fix faulty E-manage ....not communicating via USB port with PC or E01......well out of warranty ..... cheeers Dave
  19. keeps pointing back to ecu connector.....or maybe a duff emanage ......its stopped communicating with e01.....b****x cheers Dave
  20. getting error codes 14 (ignition signal) 31 (Airflow meter signal) and 47 (removed trac butterfly).......its a Jspec ....i didnt think it had an airflow meter?? any ideas please... cheeers Dave

  24. I have one (igniter)....its the same but from a 1JZ so you would just have to change over the bracket to fit the 2JZ......£50 cheeers DaveS
  25. Hi...cant seem to find anymore the instructions for wiring in a resistor pack into a Jspec...think it was by IanC ....any links?? cheers DaveS
