  1. If you replace a J-Spec speedo with a UK one then you don't need a speedo converter. I don't know about the whole cluster though. Also without a converter your odo will clock up in km unless you get it converted too.
  2. I totally agree on that. It also seems like they make plenty of money by no-one actually winning anything! I'd love to see the actual maths behind the number of options, questions and the size of the smallest money bundle you can have, but unless you're really lucky, or know a lot of the questions there's very little chance of getting anything as far as I can see.
  3. Thought so - too much else on the road to be too silly, but I wasn't surprised considering the P/W ratio your one has!
  4. some classic phrases there too: '2JZ-JZA80 3L TWINTUBRO' - never heard of the 2JZ-JZA80 engine, or tubros 'THIS IS A PROJECT CAR £1000's HAS BEEN SPENT ON THIS CAR, £1000's!!!' Never knew MDF was so expensive 'NEED VERY VERY LITTLE WORK TO COMPLETE' - So why doesn't he do it?
  5. I found a full-stop!! Do I win a prize? Adverts like that do nothing for the Supra's image unfortunately.
  6. Go on... tell it to the officer... I dare you!
  7. The JDM yellow dampers are a Bilstein design made under license by Toyota, so it shouldn't say made in Germany. I had a set on mine and don't remember seeing that. I have genuine Bilsteins on mine now and I think they do have that on them though. Can't help you with the other Q's - sorry.

  9. That was me - saw you parked up in Maccy D's, but you weren't in your car. I did wave back when you went past, but don't know if you saw me. Nice Evo BTW - how hard did you have to try to keep up - not much i'd imagine!!
  10. It's been done for real too...
  11. Having seen your dogs I hope you get the result you want
  12. I'll get you a set Dunk - and i'll even throw in some Pritt-Stik to attach them - deal?
  13. Yes - all those pistons and things like that just get in the way anyway
  14. I think they're talking about the UK spec being restricted to 155 mph, but then most German cars on the AutoBahn are exactly the same. In conclusion - more research needed.
  15. I think you're about to incur the wrath of the Repost Nazis...
  16. The best thing you can do is ignore the lot of them and go straight through small claims. There's lots of good stuff on the net about the sale of goods act, distance selling and your rights, so Google that and do some reading first if you haven't already
  17. Other than to stop squeal no. Removing them does slightly improve brake 'feel' too.
  18. This sounds like suspension arms to me - as these cars get older I think we're going to see a lot more of these types of problems as they do wear.
  19. If it was wheels then I'd have thought it would have been constant though, likewise any issues with your brakes or shocks (although a loose shock isn't good and may well be causing it somehow). It sounds more electrical (PPS or something similar) though. Are there any error codes showing?
  20. Changing lane, whether to the right or left is still changing lane and should be accompanied by an indication to warn other road users that you are intending to do so.
