  1. thanks for the advice guys... i'll take note!
  2. took out the turbo pressure sensor (part# 89421-12111) to clean as i spotted lots of black rubbery glue-alike stuff all over the vacuum hose (while replacing it with silicone hose), is this normal? tried cleaning/removing those black sticky stuff (WTF is this in the first place?) with a brush, toothpick and WD40 but it seems kinda stubborn... so, how best should i clean it? or has this sensor f*cked up? pls advise... thanks guys!
  3. oops! too late dude... already paid for this gadget and lemme give it a try, hopefully it won't f*ck up my monster...
  4. just ordered this cool "ceramic ball + spring" MBC (rated best in the market) via eBay few days ago and expecting the item to arrive sometime next week via UPS. will install the MBC between turbo #1 to wastegate top port and will cap off the wastegate bottom port and VSV port (which is connected to the wastegate bottom port) using the 2 vacuum caps supplied with the MBC kit. question: do i need to zip tie all the silicone vacuum hose ends as i've recently replaced all the old/aging and hardened rubber vacuum hoses (didn't use back the rusty metal clips) with Samco Sport blue? check out this YouTube clip: Hallman Pro RX MBC vs EBC:
  5. due to aging, this connector (highlighted in green) tends to brittle and broken while replacing the old rubber vacuum hoses with silicone hoses earlier... need to know the part no. thanks guys!
  6. wow! this is really an awesome transformation... well done dude and keep it going!
  7. i've got one too... Michael '95 UK-spec Supra TT auto
  8. OMG! you mean both Greddy Spec-V and Blitz CS are made in China? my UK-spec Supra TT auto in stock form, some BPU done up ie. K&N drop-in element, Blitz Nur Spec-R catback exhaust w/ 3" custom downpipe + decat, Denso Iridium plugs, Endless brake kits and stock 0.8bar boost.
  9. btw, i was also told that both Greddy Spec-V and Blitz CS are high quality polished intercooler kit with chemical shine applied aka CCP. some say Blitz CS is 2-row but others say 3-row, so which is which now?
  10. guys, need your expert advise asap! will be ordering either one of the above intercooler kit for my Supra and not sure which is the best, a 2-row Greddy Spec-V (600x284x76) or 3-row Blitz CS (611x266x102) intercooler kit? i was told Greddy kit gets installed easily without much hassle/cutting unlike Blitz kit which requires cutting/enlarging the fender wall and few other parts on the body - is this true?
  11. any oil hose will be fine to replace the top hose? don't think it's too much of pressure on these hoses? any advise?
  12. i think i'll need to remove those sensors connected to the intake manifold/throttle body to gain access to few of the hoses hiding underneath the throttle body... wonder if i should get ready any gaskets as i'm not too sure if those sensors and gadgets connected to it needs replacing once i took them off? any advise?
  13. oh boy... doesn't sounds too good as i've bought the whole lot... ok, lemme see whatelse i can do to get them replaced without too much effort and scraped knuckles... thanks guys!
  14. do you have any pixs of how these restrictor rings look like and where should i fit them exactly? i own a UK-spec Supra TT auto with Blitz NUR Spec R catback and a 3" custom downpipe... need to find out ways to improve the pickup or is my pipe too big causing lag?
