  1. thanks for the info guys, it's much appreciated. in this case, will just leave the MANU light flashing since it won't do any harm i suppose. will warm-up the car everyday instead of every alternate day, good advise Chris and cheers~
  2. oh... never done any speedo converter installation before neither throttle pots setup, only removed the TRAC fuse as shown in this forum to bypass the clumsy TRAC function (was informed the TRC light will stay on and O/D light will be flashing - this is normal but not the MANU light which shouldn't be flashing)
  3. guys, i'm looking for the following items: - HKS Super SQV mounting flange - HKS Super SQV recirculation kit (HKS 1421-FIT001) thanks!
  4. won't the electrical parts (say, electronic boards and switches) failed if not been active for a long time? likewise, the mechanical parts too... btw Chris, any idea why the MANU light flashes once in a while (only showing up this week but it's gone now) after removing the TRAC fuse (2 years ago)?
  5. hi Chris, how come you said it's a very bad idea to warm up the car every other day? i thought it's better for the electrical and mechanical parts? please advise, thanks!
  6. i think after removing the TRAC fuse, the MANU function won't work anymore thus pressing this button won't toggle the MANU light ON/OFF. the MANU light only flashed once in a while and seems gone now... this is really weird and hope it's not a symptom that my sweet auto box dying anytime soon...
  7. is this normal? i read articles about O/D light flashing after removing the TRAC fuse but not the MANU light, which is kinda weird really... any advise? thanks! btw, i've not been driving the car for almost 8 months now. only warming it up every alternate days for 15-30mins (with aircond and ICE running) to keep the electrical and mechanical parts moving.
  8. wow! how much including delivery to Malaysia?
  9. holy cow... guess any low ride Supra will suffer the same when crossing high bridges or going down to steep basement...
  10. had this exact same problem earlier and apparently spotted a hairline crack on the radiator top FRP piece, got this replaced together with the long O-ring, back in action!
  11. just tried fitting them again and still pop up, the left and right pieces just refused to sit nicely... sigh! seems not possible to bend this aluminium ring over my leg, worried it may crack/dent the chrome surface later if excessive pressure being applied. anyway, i've dropped a mail to Greg of The Tuning Shop and hope he has a solution for this as using glue is the last option imho.
  12. okie dok... got it... thanks mate and will give it a try soon...
  13. "We found the only way to get them to fit (especially the Dial rings) was to remove the panels from the dash, this made life much easier, the clock needs to be removed to fit the clock ring. When fitting the rings, some of them need to be slightly curved, due to the dash being slightly curved, this isn't a problem, but takes time and patience." i bought the same 3-ring dash kit from Tuning Shop UK last year and fitted all 3 with the panel removed for easier installation. however, when i woke up the next day (left the car parked under the hot sun), only the middle piece stay in place and the other 2 pieces were resting on the carpet - yupp, it fell off! question: how you managed to secure them nicely, what kinda special technique or tool required for this job? thanks.
  14. OMG! sorry to hear this bad news but no worries dude as Toyota build really strong cars especially our top production model Supra. just don't give up on your beloved Supra and with aids from rest of the dudes, i'm sure it will hitting back the tarmac real soon. all the best and keep us updated, cheers~
  15. ahhh... this is a sad thing to see... sorry to hear about your beloved Supra dude... R.I.P.
  16. it has to be either a LF-A otherwise a GT-R... say NO to 350/370Z since it reads Fairlady (unless you're ready to put on a skirt!)...
  17. nice blue gauges on the pillar pod... btw, i spotted some cool chromed bezel rings on your dash, where you got them from and how much?
  18. guys, i'm planning to get the above pedal kit for my RHD Supra Auto but according to Dusty of MVP, it's designed for LHD Supra and he's not sure if the footrest piece will fit perfectly. quick questions: 1. any idea if the RHD and LHD footrests look exactly the same since i don't have any LHD footrest in Malaysia to compare? 2. what about taking the footrest from the TTC Manual pedal kit (1st photo), replacing the footrest piece in the TTC Auto pedal kit (2nd photo)?
  19. just one word... WOW!!! you've got a very nicely done up Supra dude and i'm amazed with the overall modifications. nice to have you in this forum and do keep in touch as Malaysia and Thailand are just hundred of miles away...
  20. what's the front offset like? ET20 on a 9.5" for the rear will definitely scrub the inner fender, ET35 will just be perfect otherwise a higher figure.
