  1. thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated! Nic: you've photo of the small rib on the wiring loom connector to trim? btw, 9006 bulbs won't fit in the J-Spec Series 2 headlamps as they claimed it could fit 9006/9005/HB3 bulbs?
  2. guys, need help on this project as i've bought a set of J-spec series 2 headlamp for my JZA80 UK-spec... can i re-use the stock wiring harness or any mods required? what about the bulbs? thanks!
  3. tighten the allen key to remove the rear mirror assembly? this action won't crack the windscreen?
  4. guys, please help and if possible, kindly provide the details and photos (if any)... thanks so much!
  5. anyone knows the correct part no. for the brake master cylinder assembly without ABS? is it 47201-14810 or 47201-14820 or 47201-14840 or 47201-14850 or perhaps a completely different part no.?
  6. ohhh... lemme take a closer look once i get my hands dirty, thanks!
  7. wow! you guys are just awesome... will give it a try soon, thanks so much!
  8. thanks for the prompt reply Ric, much appreciated. with the strut rings on, you've no issue closing the hood cover and fully tightening the bolts? do you've any hood scoop in place, like my UK-spec?
  9. where you got the TRD front strut bar from and how much including shipping?
  10. guys, just bought the above item and plan to install it soon. questions: 1. do i need to remove that black metal round ring (came with factory Supra) attached to the top of the front shock (secured by 3 nuts) before installing the CUSCO front strut bar? 2. was thinking of getting the CUSCO rear strut bar as well but was told by many it's not necessary since factory Supra already has some kinda rear strut plate in place? hope you guys could advise soonest, thanks so much!
  11. wonder how you guys (UK-spec JZA80 Supra MKIV TT) did the installation as i plan to do it soon? installation photos will definitely be a bonus for me, thanks!
  12. any idea what could have gone wrong? i remember it has that ticking noise when i flicked the signal light indicator to either left/right...
  13. UPDATES! accompanied my buddy to the workshop this morning and finally found the culprit which causes the rear end to wobble when boost kicks in. apparently, the RH rear lower arm seems to be having extensive free-play at the ball-joint section when shaking the wheel hard. since this section can't be fixed/repaired, will proceed to order new replacement parts (2 x 48710-14110) from Toyota. fyi, the wheel bearings are in tiptop condition as it feels very firm. also spotted the LH differential cushion in poor condition and will order both LH and RH replacement parts (41651-14010 & 41651-14020) as well. do we need a press to remove/install the differential cushion or can it be done on-situ? thanks to everyone for the awesome response and guidance, it's much appreciated. cheers~
  14. yupp, when the boost kicks in and when throttle off... the rear seems dancing and scary! no spacers on the wheels, only centre cones installed to give the aftermarket wheels tight fitment.
  15. upper arm bushes have slight hairline crack but not major. will this be the culprit? wheel bearing seems ok and no wooing wooing noise while rotating the wheels on situ...
  16. need some advise for my buddy's Supra MKIV. took me for a spin in his single turbo auto Supra MKIV this afternoon and the rear wheels seem to wobble when boost kicks in, is this normal? currently running on 18x9.5 +35 all around, using 245/40 front and 265/40 rear setup. all shocks and rear anti-roll bar (comes with new bushes) recently replaced, 18" wheels are new with the correct centre cone installed... so wonder what could have gone wrong causing the rear to wobble? TRAC has been disabled (TRC light ON, O/D light flashing) by removing the connector and fuse. surprisingly, when going uphill, this wobbling problem seems absent or perhaps due to weight distribution? hope you guys could assist to sort out this problem quickly as the ride is pretty scary at the moment especially on uneven road or during wet days... thanks so much!
  17. Guess what guys? I've gone totally speechless after viewing this thread and it has to be the most happening thread with tons of high-quality photos shared! Simply awesome... Keep it going! Oh yeahhh...
  18. replaced the faulty power window regulator assembly but having problem aligning the door window glass piece for perfect tight sealing. spotted 2 knobs for adjustment at the bottom of the door panel secured by a bolt. which knob should i adjust and what's the correct step-by-step procedures for a perfect alignment?
  19. likewise... everything looks ok to me and no rats hiding in the car... wonder what could be wrong!
  20. oops... yet to check that part and what should we do next? remove the connector and plug it back in after cleaning it with contact cleaner? any photo to share?
  21. any idea what could be wrong? the MANU light stays ON after re-installing the 7.5A TRAC fuse and goes off at times during cruise. putting the gear in 1 and 2 position, sometime it shows 1 and 2 lighted up together... if i remove the TRAC fuse again, the MANU light goes OFF and this is really weird. hope someone could enlighten me and nothing is too severe...
  22. Happy New Year! about to order the above re-manufactured alternator for my 1995 Supra TT auto (UK-spec RHD) and wonder if this same Toyota part number actually has RHD and LHD models since the seller is from US? just wanna be sure i'm ordering the correct part for my RHD Supra. hope to hear from you guys soonest, thanks so much!
