  1. thanks for the advice guys, much appreciated! Nic: you've photo of the small rib on the wiring loom connector to trim? btw, 9006 bulbs won't fit in the J-Spec Series 2 headlamps as they claimed it could fit 9006/9005/HB3 bulbs?
  2. guys, need help on this project as i've bought a set of J-spec series 2 headlamp for my JZA80 UK-spec... can i re-use the stock wiring harness or any mods required? what about the bulbs? thanks!
  3. tighten the allen key to remove the rear mirror assembly? this action won't crack the windscreen?
  4. guys, please help and if possible, kindly provide the details and photos (if any)... thanks so much!
  5. anyone knows the correct part no. for the brake master cylinder assembly without ABS? is it 47201-14810 or 47201-14820 or 47201-14840 or 47201-14850 or perhaps a completely different part no.?
  6. ohhh... lemme take a closer look once i get my hands dirty, thanks!
  7. wow! you guys are just awesome... will give it a try soon, thanks so much!
  8. thanks for the prompt reply Ric, much appreciated. with the strut rings on, you've no issue closing the hood cover and fully tightening the bolts? do you've any hood scoop in place, like my UK-spec?
  9. where you got the TRD front strut bar from and how much including shipping?
  10. guys, just bought the above item and plan to install it soon. questions: 1. do i need to remove that black metal round ring (came with factory Supra) attached to the top of the front shock (secured by 3 nuts) before installing the CUSCO front strut bar? 2. was thinking of getting the CUSCO rear strut bar as well but was told by many it's not necessary since factory Supra already has some kinda rear strut plate in place? hope you guys could advise soonest, thanks so much!
  11. wonder how you guys (UK-spec JZA80 Supra MKIV TT) did the installation as i plan to do it soon? installation photos will definitely be a bonus for me, thanks!
  12. any idea what could have gone wrong? i remember it has that ticking noise when i flicked the signal light indicator to either left/right...
  13. UPDATES! accompanied my buddy to the workshop this morning and finally found the culprit which causes the rear end to wobble when boost kicks in. apparently, the RH rear lower arm seems to be having extensive free-play at the ball-joint section when shaking the wheel hard. since this section can't be fixed/repaired, will proceed to order new replacement parts (2 x 48710-14110) from Toyota. fyi, the wheel bearings are in tiptop condition as it feels very firm. also spotted the LH differential cushion in poor condition and will order both LH and RH replacement parts (41651-14010 & 41651-14020) as well. do we need a press to remove/install the differential cushion or can it be done on-situ? thanks to everyone for the awesome response and guidance, it's much appreciated. cheers~
  14. yupp, when the boost kicks in and when throttle off... the rear seems dancing and scary! no spacers on the wheels, only centre cones installed to give the aftermarket wheels tight fitment.
