A couple more piccies now its had a clean

As far as I know the headgasket is fine, it had a service and MOT the other week at a garage I've used many times in the past for tuning on a different car and they reported no problems other than the items I was aware of and have mentioned in this thread.

I've got the car booked in at YVS to look at the heater matrix and have a go at unblocking it. They seem to think theres a good chance its just blocked. In case its not just that I have now got a replacement heater matrix which I bought from demister man. I've seen a car I fancy getting as a replacement for this one so while that car is still around I would be willing to listen to offers around £5k

No I haven't tried that Dunk, will give that a try, cheers!

Sorry for the delay in getting some decent high res pics up, picked up the car Saturday with a full MOT with the intention of giving it a good clean Sunday so I could take some shots. Unfortunately since Sunday morning its been covered in snow! Will get some pics up when it thaws out!

Not yet as the car is still at the garage, bushes turned up late Friday so should be MOT'd today. Will sort some high res piccies inside and out this weekend. Cheers, Michael.

Just a quick update, the replacement bushes turned up late yesterday so in the next week or so it'll have a full 12 months MOT once again. As such the asking price is £6k ono I'm not in a huge rush to sell the car so won't be accepting any low offers, happy to give more information or piccies to genuinely interested parties with realistic expectations on price Cheers, Michael.

Thanks for the input, lots to think about there! I think the heater matrix is blocked because the heating takes ages to warm up and when its got there its not as effective as it should be. Paintwork isn't perfect but its certainly not am OMG! Most likely I'll be getting the suspension pads and fog light sorted and will be looking to sell it with full MOT. If interest is limited will certainly consider your heater matrix comment. Cheers, Michael.

Oops! The mileage is a bit higher than I originally thought then, apologies! My wife uses it as a daily drive and I'm away this week so the original info was posted up from memory, I guess my memory is not as good as I thought! And after all that its failed its MOT! lol - Rear foglight - Needs new rear pads - Rear offside bush pin needs replacing, too much play I was contemplating getting it through its MOT and ask for £6k ono, however if someone would be interested now I'd take £5k for it. Please note it comes with a spare set of standard Supra wheels which I'd bought to make it easier to get the others refurbed and the ones that are on are some nice 18" Veilside ones. Paint needs touching up in places rather than replacing, I perhaps painted that in a worse light than I should have. I'll get some more piccies up at the weekend and take it from there. Will mull things over on the price till then. Thanks for your input so far, much appreciated Cheers, Michael.

Yeah true, it does add up a bit, sorry! But yes, it will be reflected in the price. 7.5k sounds like a lot, but thanks for the suggestion. I had envisaged it being a fair bit less than that to be honest! But if thats the going rate? Cheers, Michael.

Thanks for the reply Problems I know of are: - Worn interior, drivers seat has a few rips aswell as general wear and tear - Forward and backwards motor of drivers seat broken, only one side moves! - Wheels could do with a refurb as they're getting on a bit - Paintwork is not 100%, few stone chips and such like but no rust - Interior is generally a bit 'tired', carpets etc - Cracked dash, looks like the bulbs for the dials etc were replaced poorly by previous owner and caused some minor damage to the plastic dash, also for some reasons the dial lights don't work when the headlights aren't on - Heater matrix blocked? Hmmm... looks like a longer list than I thought when you write it down! Can't put any interior pics up at the moment but will do so at the weekend. I'll also double check the mods its had done so I can put up a full spec. Cheers, Michael.

Just testing the water initially to see if theres any interest out there for a TT Aerotop that needs a few odd jobs to bring her up to perfect standard. Price to reflect the few minor jobs that need attending to, currently trying to work out what its worth so any (realistic/helpful) suggestions please feel free to give them! Black twin turbo auto Aerotop with BPU, 162,269km on the clock. Interior is a bit worn and theres a few tidy up jobs needed but the the car is mechanically sound, runs well and still pulls strong. New Varta battery just fitted, in for its MOT today which I imagine it will sail through so it will come with 12 months MOT. If you are interested please get in touch. And another bump.... Still for sale, and still a very good price for the overall condition of the car! Cosmetically it isn't perfect and has a few tidy up jobs to be done, but it runs very well and has proven to be very reliable, well since I had the new starter motor fitted anyway!

Quick update, forgot to mention that it had new pads about a month ago and its gone through its MOT today with no issues.
