Just personal preference based on some of the research I've done. It all seems to point to the UK spec version as the best "all rounder" but saying that I still wouldn't rule out a Facelift model. Hey, just signed up recently cos I've got my mind set on getting a Mark iv UK spec. I've downloaded all the guides that have been posted on various forums and they've all been brilliantly helpful. I'm a complete novice when it comes to cars but I know what I like and I was wondering what (if any!) the major downsides to being a Mark iv owner were or if there are any majour faults that I should be aware of when I go hunting in a few weeks.
