  1. Both my accidents (well, the ones involving other cars anyway) have been with Volvo's. I hit a ancient 340 type thingy ages ago and drove my old MR2 into an S40 about a year and a half ago. When I see one now I turn the car around and just go! They seem have it in for me....! Grrr. Si
  2. Arrrrgh! I must have dyed my hair blonde today without realising it.
  3. I can't find the 3 screws at the back of the steering wheel - are these on the back of the bit that turns or on the bit behind? All I can see is a single socket type thingy on the side of the bit that turns, this was in VERY tight, but after removing it the wheel still does not come any looser. Help! Si
  4. I need one of these as well - how much are they and are they easy to fit? Is there a web address with info/pics on it which I could have a look at. Ta Si.
  5. Thanks to everyone who replied - I went to Halfrauds - did actually get one of the aforementioned 'brain donors' who couldn't find it, I eventually found the Volvo part myself, and, when no-one was looking, took it to the counter and paid for it. I then ran out of the shop before anyone saw me. Fitted fine. Cheers Simon.
  6. I also had an MR2 Turbo before my supe and ripped the front off of that all the time. When I bought my supra it had a poor quality fibreglass nosecone on it which scraped *everything*, there was less than an inch clearance off of the floor at the front. Then when I had a little bump a year ago I trashed the nosecone and now my Supra has a standard nosecone on but with one of Paul Whiffin's lower lips on it, theres loads more clearance and the car doesn't scrape on anything AND its easy to fit - I would highly reccomend. I also fitted black mesh and a second set of fog lamps which I think finishes it off nicely. Pic here: http://www.msmcws.demon.co.uk/si_supra/sup2002_1.jpg SJ
  7. Does anyone know how to remove the Steering wheel from the MKIV import TT 6 spd? Mine is the model without the airbag. Ta SJ
  8. I think I can grit my teeth and order the volvo part from Halfrauds. Might go tonight if I get chance. Definatly fits though? Thanks to everyone who responded. Simon.
  9. Does anyone know where I can buy a single DIN stereo blanking plate or shelf to fit my MKIV. I only have a single DIN stereo and am sick of having a hole in the dashboard. Thanks Si MKIV TT 6spd (jap)
