  1. Cheers bud, shame it has to go, it's the love of my life! Haha!
  2. My baby is up for sale on the bay, thought you guys may be interested! Bad times http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=121805186760&globalID=EBAY-GB
  3. Yeah, very lucky indeed, I pulled a length of the two wires out to check and thankfully it was only a small length! Just been for a run and all is good in the world again!
  4. Get in, I found it! I was cutting away the insulation from he two wires that go into the connector to do a full recondition of the connector when I noticed a bit of charring! I whipped off a bit more protection and the wires had completely burnt through their plastic and sorted each other out! Thankfully it was only about 50mm long! Now the job of rewiring it neatly! Thanks for the help guys. Matt
  5. The car ran fine just last week, it's a such a strange one!
  6. I've just bypassed the clip and hard wired the coil pack straight through and it's still the same, even though it's receiving a strong voltage, the ignitor is my last hope, then we get into ECU territory!
  7. Could be, I'll check it after the ignitor! I've got voltage coming from the coil pack end of the clip though, so not sure! They look in good condition as I think the previous owner had them all replaced.
  8. Would the rest of the coil packs not fail if the igniter was kaput though mate? I've tried another coil pack but to no avail! I've got a mate coming over later, so I'll swap his igniter over!
  9. Hi guys, My car is idling like a bag of nails and I've managed to trace the fault to no spark in no1 cylinder. I am getting voltage to the coil pack but no spark. I have swapped over coil packs but the non spark still remains. I have also reset the ecu, but nothing will work. What could be causing the coilpack to not fire? Any ideas techno bods?
  10. Cheers Lee, I'm guessing that's what's happened!
  11. Is the crank sensor connected to the alternator? Would it stop the car starting if this was damaged?
  12. Looking at it though, you could be right??
  13. No mate, I don't think so! It always gets in the way when you tighten up the two nuts on the thermostat pipe.
  14. Hi guys, I just managed to trap the wire at the bottom right of this picture behind my thermostat pipe and tightened it up and I'm worried that the fact the car won't start now may be caused by this. Does anyone know what these wires are for? If it is the Water Temperature Sensor, then it kind of explains it all as it won't start without this! Any help would be really appreciated. Many thanks, Matt
  15. Have you got any pics of the carbon dash trim? Is it real carbon or carbon effect?
  16. Regrettably I'm going to have to pull out of coming tomorrow as my cam covers have STILL not arrived back from the chromers, if possible, please give my ticket and passenger ticket to another club member who may want to join in
  17. Om nom nom, yes please! Just one for me as I'll be flying solo now. Cheers x
  18. Missed this somehow, but leaving services at 7.45? That's a bit early isn't it? I'm coming from Wiltshire a good two hour drive away!
  19. It's not taxed and the MoT runs out in December!
  20. Yeah, I saw it at Japfest too! Great looking Supra to be honest.
  21. Wow, I thought I had a bargain when I got one for £115. That's an insane price! They look like pretty good build quality too although I haven't tested mine yet, it fits fine though!
  22. I'm deffo coming mate, but don't get paid until Thursday! If you pm me account details, I'll put it directly into your account Rog!
