customer service, customer service, customer service. did I say customer service? Little things to make the experience enjoyable. Sat with the assistant? offer a coffee. Talking for 5 min? offer to clean/buff/check screws etc of the customers old glasses. Do not rush appointments. Have your meet and greet shop staff and then dedicated people doing the eye test. The shop staff then continue on after the test and they are the customers point of contact. for me, customer service is the number one thing that makes people spend. Get it right on that front and you will do well!

First thing I did. Also checked for the GWX folders and dont have them on that computer. 9 Was terrible... so bad MS just want to skip right past it! For those that arent sure, try the preview on a VM. I hated 8 on a desktop (totally hate 8 has changed to just desktops after using a Surface) but W10 is a nice balance between the windows of old and what they wanted to do with 8. I will be going to 10 but It wont be immediate. I will wait 6 months or so to see if there are any real issues with it before I clone the drive and stick it on.

I may or may not and one of my machines got the confirmation and my other machine didnt. Both running allegedly the same version... :innocent:

To stop getting the nagging updates you can uninstall one of the latest updates. Just google which one as there are plenty of discussions on this. The rollout WILL update your current version if you go ahead and install it. Im going to wait before I update to make sure all the bugs are ironed out. First impressions..... How many buttons do you have to learn! Find myself key bashing when I get in a fight. visually looks good and the map is MASSIVE...not sure if thats good or bad yet. Definitely one you have to sit and play for a few hours on end. Still not a fan of rpg's but going to give this one a good go!

everything is available if you look for it. I havent really played games like this but I have aquired it to give it a go on the pc. Was going to install it tonight and see how we go!

I am currently in mine. XR8 Ute. 5.4l V8, 6 speed box and a blower! 500rwhp with no weight over the rear wheels! I have always wated a V8 but could never afford it in the Uk. Got over here and supra/skylines are stupid prices. It was at that point I would do the Aussie thing and get a ute.... everything has been a bonus!

go to the mobo manufacturers website and download them. Lan driver is a minimum! at least you could get online and download any further drivers you need without being stuck!

always, always, always download your LAN drivers before an re installation. Whilst W7 usually has the generic ones I am finding more and more boards that need the correct lan drivers before you can connect to the net.

errm .... you have Avast and AVG? decide which one you want and remove the other. You shouldnt run 2 AV at the same time. AVG toolbar is fine. I usually dont like them myself but found the AVG one to be useful on occasion.

Watched a few films this last week. American Sniper = A very good film. I wasnt sure what to expect but very well executed. Big Hero 6 = Im a big kid at heart and loved it! Birdman = what an absolute dire film! In fact I lasted an hour and turned it off. I have no idea why everyone is raving about it and soooo glad I didnt go to the cinema to watch it. personally I would rank it right up there as one of the worst films I have ever tried to watch. Anoying camera, poor script, a play about a play (yawn) god awful soundtrack that overpowered the actors speaking.... avoid avoid avoid! Predestination = Good film, kept me watching until the end when everything dropped into place.... but I did guess it half way through.

There is a way to get Towelroot to work but you need to flash an earlier stock rom. Towelroot will also never be updated as the dev now works for google. Root is done via odin but its more if you want warranty or not. I am lucky as i was able to use towelroot, knox is 0x0 (ie, not tripped) and my status is still official in settings and in the bootloader Knox doesn't lock the phone. Its just an efuse that shows the phone has been tampered with. Once tripped, it cant be changed back and warranty is well and truly void. edit: Or so I thought! seems a bod on xda has returned his back to 0x0! Also.... when Lollipop is released, think very carefully before you update and want root. Word is that it is going to be completely locked down and root is going to be alot hard/impossible to achieve anymore. Have a read on xda developers and chainfires thoughts on it

another couple of cool apps for you. First up a live 3D wallpaper... 3D parallax background. 3d wallpapers that work off the sensors in the phone. You can even select images from your folders and use them. next up is Zooper Widget Pro. Customisable widget maker. Very good for making widgets how you want them.....have a tutorial vid to give you an idea as its a bit limitless! You can also download a huge array of skins off the playstore. Use it with the app widget lock and you can set up the widgets from zooper on your lockscreen to make it fully customisable. What you can do with this lot is VAST!
