soooo..... Whos into RC and quadcopters? Been itching to try this for a while and now that I dont have a car and some spare cash... I thought why not! Bought myself an Emax nighthawk 280 pro RTF. http://www.emaxmodel.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/1/_/1_3_9.jpg Not FPV yet as I need the goggles to do that but I wanted to give it a go and then if I like it I will buy them! Just waiting for some extra props to turn up before I take it out properly but I have been using it in my little courtyard to get the hang of hovering etc.... and blimey its scary when you ramp the throttle a bit to much! I think I may be getting into this big time!

Missus got me a decent mig/tig welder that's good enough to be in any workshop! Very very happy with that and I actually had no idea I was getting it. The bloke in the shop absolutely nailed the rubbish description that she gave him. Now I just have to learn to weld! lol

What would you do if you got mugged off like this..

Thats the problem... Assume EVERYONE is trying to get one over you. -
I will just leave this here... was a bit warm today!

I think everyone has gone through it at some point fella. Being shy makes it feel worse. Ignore social media, get back to the Gym and concentrate on your course, Your better off without her.

The touch screens have been a success as they are now in every store here. Personally I prefer to speak to a person than a screen, whats next, no staff at all? They have taken on the stance of having a helper to show you how to use them ( similar to scan your own supermarkets which I also refuse to use ) and they are VERY surprised when I say no thanks I will go to the counter. The stores are kept very clean here ( from what a customer can see anyway) and since they have brought in the Barista coffee section I think they are on the right path..... I just prefer to speak to a person, not a machine!

Burger King Never really ventured in BK or hungry jacks as they are called here. Not a fan of the burgers so never really had them. Costa Coffee Dont mind costa. A very good alternative for a main chain coffee store. I always had good service and coffee so cant complain. KFC I used to enjoy kfc. Since moving here though I havent touched it. Food was terrible service was just as bad and store wasnt very clean imo dont think I would ever venture back. McDonald's I like maccas! But then I have always ordered sometging that isnt on the menu and get it made fresh everytime. Maccas are very common here and every store is clean, well run and management are very helpful. One thing I dont like is the create your own menu. I have zero inclination to use a touch screen to make my own burger. I will go to the counter and speak to a person. A: I like to speak to someone, B: its quicker than having to scroll through pagesofwhat I dont want. I even walked out of one store when I couldnt pay by card at the counter, I HAD to use the touch screen if I wanted that, so I left and went down the road to the next one that had no such stupid rule in place! Pizza Hut I have alot of pizzahut as well. Its cheap as chips here, $6 for a large deep pan! ( less than £3 to you guys) quality is excellent and the stores are everywhere! Starbucks Never been a fan of starbucks. Coffee was always poor and service was average and now that we dont have any local shops... I dont use them. Subway Poor! Never liked the proccessed meats, never got the bread I want and generally not very nice. Poor staff and average stores and actually expensive here are enough to keep me away.

i managed to get easeus partition magic pro6 for free a few years ago through an offer. I can host it of anyone wants it.... no codes, cracks or activation needed and legit from Easeus! just install and use as its pre activated.

having done glamping in a wooden teepee style 'tent' it would be the only way I would go camping now. They are a great idea!

*cough* Hydrodipping *cough* Just received my starter kit to give this a go. Seems fairly straight forward to do, just practice is needed.

That expensive bit is a house deposit so I am not sure what I am going to do yet. It would be easy to drop into a new shell but I may mothball it first if I decide to keep it.

lol.. didnt see the happy face but tbh.. its not looking too bad. Got it delivered back home tonight and I have been able to have my first good look around it. The fire was very localised to the fuel tank area. The flames from the day were mostly the plastic tray liner melting and dripping everywhere. Think I should be able to get about 95% of the running gear out to sell on so I will do ok out of it. the inside has seen better days though....

Went and checked the car over yesterday to make sure salvage was viable and very happy with what I saw... No damage at all, just covered in soot. Insurance is paying out and the car is due to be delivered to me tomorrow. I also spoke to my tuner and he said if I chuck it in another V8 shell, he will just need to load my tune and it would be good to go again.... I'm in no rush to sell the engine so we will see what happens....
-
I wont have this amount of money invested in a car for while I think. Will be bricks and mortar next time. As for putting the engine in something else.... that also wont be happening. The modifying rules over here are stupid and the car would need engineering which is a very costly exercise and ALOT of hassle and after the amount of effort I put into this one I dont have the heart to do it again at the moment.

thanks guys. yeah it was hard watching it go up... I had alot invested in it. As for bigger and better.... not going to happen for a while... cant afford it! lol

An interesting day today and one I ma not very happy about. The day started normal and driving to work I ended up with a 'little' situation. I will let the pics do the talking..... Thankfully I am ok but I am absolutely gutted. Watching it go up in flames was hard! Fortunately I think the engine will be ok. As you can see it hasnt affected the front to much so I should be able to remove the engine when I get it back for salvage. I suspect a fuel line has split and spat fuel onto the exhaust and up she went and once the tank took hold there was no real stopping it. Certainly an interesting experience thats for sure! Insurance will cover it so I will do alright once I part it out but I think my High HorsePower days are over for a while.

Sync contacts with google first. export the contacts to a vcard and save off the phone as a backup... just in case! Text messages can be done with an app.. i think there a few free ones on the market. Reset and connect to google. COntacts/apps etc should auto download when you sign into google. Its not instant though. If not place your vcard backup on the phone and import contacts that way. You can turn off the auto check for OTA updates. you dont need to root to do that at all. settings>about phone> software update? untick auto update.

I would love an inspire 1!

the missus didnt complain.... -
try it in a VM fella. Its a nice mix of 7 and 8 now. It was very easy to use as soon as it was installed. As with all MS o/s every second one is the better one! I will only be swapping a few machines over to start with ( probably the laptop) to see how we go until I roll it out across my main machine etc

A quick update. ALL of my pc's running W7 have now got the W10 update icon. It would seem even dodgy copies will indeed update at this time.
