  1. Day 3 over... And it was hard! Really struggled with the first beer but got there in the end! Been a cracking birthday but thank god it's over for another year!
  2. Day 3 Oh dear.... 14hrs on it yesterday and I'm feeling it today! This is one mean hangover! Only 1 more party to go! How the hell did I do this every weekend when I was younger!
  3. Day 2... No real hangover to speak of.... That may change after today though! 12pm start.... It's gonna be a tough day!
  4. Some of us have a life.....
  5. Over 2000 posts... ( when and how did that happen?) and no birthday thread:tongue:
  6. 87 % made up of cheese , beef and pork..... 13% of what else?
  7. Not just supra's I am always falling out with the ute, forever checking out car ads and for sale threads on the Aussie supra forum. Even had it advertised at one point. I then don't drive it for whatever reason and soon as I get back in the drivers seat I get that smile again...hell, I have 5.4ltr V8 as my daily, why wouldn't I! I haven't driven in in nearly 3 weeks now and seeing it yesterday in bits I am itching to get back into it!
  8. Beats the toys you get in yours!
  9. Thought you may like to see my little drama I am having with the ute. It's had a rattle for ages now and I thought it was the tensioners and chains. I changed these out and put in an updated oil pump at the same time. It didn't cure the rattle.. I got the shits with it and thought, stuff it, it dies it dies..... It died! Just been to see my mech that's pulling it apart and found... Crank. Some of the shot bearings/caps Oil pick up.. Spun the bearings on the front 2 cylinders and cylinder 1 rod/big ends were oval! Having the block looked at tomoz to make sure the bores are ok. Rather than grinding the crank etc, I'm getting a fully forged bottom end comprising of crank, pistons, rods, arp bolts, bearings and fitting an uprated clutch whilst it's out. Should be good for upto 900hp. Overkill, yes, but once I pay the loan off on it I will be supercharging it so may as well do it all now. Actual kit is .... 1500 HP Forged Steel Racing Crankshaft (6 or 8 bolt) by Kellogg 100% US made - NOT CHINESE like EAGLE or SCAT! MANLEY^ 4340 Forged H-beam Rods with ARP Bolts MANLEY Forged Pistons with tool steel Pins Total Seal Rings Clevite Performance Rod and Main bearings Already have a mellings uprated oil pump and metal chain tensioners fitted as this is what I thought the problem was. Why did it do this? I think the original ford oil pump wasn't upto the job. The damage was already done by the time I put the uprated jobby in and it just got worse over time. Oil pressure etc was checked before it got pulled apart and that was fine.
  10. I look forward to your call in 3 months when your hacked off at the agent you choose based on Broken promises and not honest facts!
  11. One of my fave lines when I am in with an owner is ...." there will always be someone who charges less than me and there will always be someone who will give you a higher price, thats real estate. I am happy to lose a listing because you don't like me but can you afford to to go with an agent that isn't honest with you from the start?" It's a strange trade where I spend an hour with a complete stranger and I would walk out with their front door keys to their biggest asset.
  12. Exactly. A house will always sell. It all boils down to price. Simple as that. The trick to choosing the right agent is go with the one that convince you enough that they will get the price you want. This is why I always say to do your own research. When you do meet, grill him! Make it hard for him. Ask lots of questions. He says it's worth more, get him to show you, not just a list of comparisons. A good agent will have good objection handling. Does he pause when he speaks? Does he answer quickly and accurately? Throw in the same question twice at different stages and see if you get the same answer. Ask him what he will do if it doesn't sell in 3 months? Why is he worth the commission? What does he do that are different to other agents? Dangle a carrot for him. Set a price you are happy with then set a sliding scale on commission. An extra 10k over the agreed price gets him Half a percent extra in commission.... I could go on!
  13. And then when it doesn't sell you will have to do an adjustment...... Usual agent trick to get you to sign, without seeing it, how can he say that? Ask him what he is going to do differently if the agent that was 10k cheaper couldn't sell it. Ask to see the comparisons that he has sold personally. A good agent will always have these with him. Make him work for his listing!
  14. Lol.. Being in real estate myself, although not in the uk, uk agents are crap! They just aren't pro active enough! My house is still on the market since I left 3 years ago! I took it off for 6 months and started looking at all the agents in my area. I sent a list of requirements etc etc and they basically put it in the too hard basket! They didn't want to do what I was asking (pretty much what we do here in oz) and basically underpriced the property so I wouldn't go with them! My advice is to do your homework to values etc and see which agent tells you the least amount of rubbish!
  15. Also boot into safemode and run malwarebytes and/or superantispyware. Sometimes if these won't run, you have to rename the exe in order for it to work with some malware. I would also try an online scan using trend housecall.
  16. Congrats! And if you choose micheal, spell it the best way!
  17. Lol... Dual flush are standard over here. No you don't get floaters.
  18. I had the 452's on my skyline.... Always loosing traction but ok for the price. Over here I recently stuck a set of kumho KU36's on. I have to say its a cracking tyre! Extreeeeeemly grippy in the dry and pretty good in the wet. I say pretty good due to the fact I have zero weight over the rear wheels due to it being a ute so it gets a little tail happy but only if it is provoked and it is also very predictable.
  19. Love the last part of the title..... I fart... I bet he did!
