Search and ye shall find... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?80479-Fog-Light-Conversions-for-beginners&highlight=fog+light

The bulb warning light comes on permenantly depending on which fog light mod you have done. If the importer done it, chances are it wasn't done with the wirewound resistor pack and therefor the fault shows.

You need a length of vac hose. Around 18" should do it. There is a guide on here showing how it's done. If you can't find it give me a shout and I'll go through it with you.

I didn't actually look at the previous link, I assumed it was a spray. Clever stuff that then Looking forward to the frontal, I thought about doing mine (tinting) but thought it would be illegal. At least this stuff I can easily take off if it's not for me.

My Dad had the exact car that you currently have. Nice pull from it so if you don't go TT you will notice a hugh difference in driving experience vs the N/A. As with all non-turbo cars you need to work it a little bit to get it going. Regardless of which variant you go for, it will be faster, you will just need to change your driving style a little. Civic was all go from around 1.5krpm till around 3-3.5krpm then tailed off massively till the 5kish redline. The N/A Supra will feel a little bit gutless until getting over the 3krpm mark where it will start to pull nicely, once into 4k it finds its feet and gives it some. A TT needs no introduction really. Starts to pull relatively well around the 2k mark, by 3k the 1st turbo is on full song and pulling strong, just under 4k you will get a little dip before all hell brakes loose and the second turbo joins in. If you are worried about fuel, maintenence costs or insurance then the Supra is definitely not for you. They are expensive to fuel (around 20mpg when not on the motorway.... and that's if you are relatively nice to it), relatively expensive to service (mine is £150 just on parts/fluids) depending your brand choice and the insurance can be anything from surprsingly cheap (I pay around £400) to ridiculously expensive (Current member is paying around £2.5k iirc). Plenty of guys up your way to show you around the cars etc, as you can see they are very happy to help out. If you want to experience an N/A just give me a shout and I'll tell you what vac lines to pull when they aren't looking, either that or sneak the handbrake on. Weclome

Got any full frontal shots of the car? I take it the front lights aren't any good at night now? Kind of show only thing?

You should crank it up Mark. 1.2bar is a different animal again. If the turbos pop (unlikely) you can get them fairly cheeply and you have the resources to have them swapped over in no-time.

They didn't give me a window

Modern projector lenses have gubbins behind them to trim the top of the light IIRC. The Supra doesn't have any of that, but I haven't had any issues with scatter so it doesn't worry me.
-
I can't see the pictures in work but if you have sprayed over the sidelight lenses then the sidelights will no longer be visible. Did you remove the lenses via the 2 screws underneath before spraying?

Did you copy and paste the first part Jazz? Looks like a google search to me, especially as the word "cuss" is used (an American colloquialism). It's either that or someone else wrote it as you won't know what half those words mean, nevermind be able to spell them. Anyway, it won't be classified as swearing as it isn't offensive. A "cuss" word, or curse word to use the expression properly, is a term used in a negative fashion towards a person or situation. It can be anything deemed offensive by the person recieving it or reading it, in my opinion. Of course this is where common sense comes into play, we all know the obvious swear words, which I presume are what carries an instant ban, while the lesser, grey area, words will most likely be pointed out as inappropriate. I used a simple example, we enjoy Friends, and I think most pre-watershed shows will be a good example of the level of language appropriate for everyday use. What do you class as bullying Jazz? Is getting laid flat out in a pub after calling all Scots "ginger" being bullied? I'm honestly curious as you seem to want to pull out the "victim" card very quickly, yet you are happy to cause offence yourself. If you want to use the victim card I would suggest not replying when you feel you are being "bullied" and simply point it out to a moderator, when you reply you are getting involved. Stereotyping is easy bud, I wouldn't lower myself to your level as I wouldn't want to offend the other Asian members on the forum. I would honestly recommend you are careful with what you say regarding other peoples race/nationality though as it could end up rather messy on this forum.

Que? Edit: And folks rave about those phones too

I felt a bit like that too. Felt as if I hung out over the top of it if you know what I mean.

Not sure on the normal boost figures but 0.5 on the first tubby sounds low, I thought 0.6/0.7 was the norm? I might be wrong though. I don't think an exhaust leak would have that sort of effect to be honest. I would have a good look over the VSVs. The very top one at the rear of the engine is often the culprite for what you are describing. Pay close attention to all the vac lines in this area. If you want to make sure you are seeing an appropriate level of boost you could run the car in TTC mode. You only need an 18" length of vac host in order to do it. This will bring both turbos in at the same time, in a linear fashion, and rule out the turbos (pointing to the sequential system inc vac lines, vsvs, pressure tank). It's always good to see some healthy boost in order to rule out the turbos, for peace of mind, so I would definitely strongly recommend giving it a go

I've got a set of UKs sitting in the garage, no Jspecs unfortunately
-
I would recommend getting a shot in one mate. They are great on track, all be it a bit of a handfull, but on the roads they leave a lot to be desired. My mate has one, it isn't hugely powerful (around 150hp) but it can really accelerate.
-
Those look like j-specs to me. No they aren't lol, UKs. Just spotted the pinholes.

Another member got a set of these and has been getting good results. Last time I read an update he was aiming to crack 500hp. Not sure whether it's good or bad that we haven't heard any more about it though. The only trouble you will have is that you need all the supporting mods to go along with it. BPU is getting cloe to the limits of the fuel system so you would need to upgrade the injectors and fuel pump if you haven't already. Of course with the fuel comes the ECU so that would need to be factored in too..... next is the clutch. Basically you need to buy just about everything you need to to go single. I think the only difference is you can be pretty safe buying the lower end of the scale with regards to ECU as a bit of fudging should be good enough. Unfortunately there is no way to safely get 500hp on the stock system.

I would walk into comet and see if you can get this then... http://www.comet.co.uk/p/Laptops/buy-SAMSUNG-SAMR730JB09-Laptop/729302 It's £150 more expensive in PC world but it is miles overspecced to what you are after. If it was me I'd save the money and just pay for 24 hour delivery (if it's not available in store)
-
Yeah right lol. I almost gave mine away
-
Are you definitely sold in walking into a shop? I haven't even looked properly yet but the laptop advised above is £100 cheaper just looking in comet online... http://www.comet.co.uk/p/Laptops/buy-SAMSUNG-SAMRC710S01-Laptop/729574

£600 is a fantastic budget for a laptop Jamie. Is it work related with casual gaming? If you are looking to play some relatively high end games (laptop high end) then the £800 budget might be better but if it's mostly for office, internet, home type stuff then £600 will easily cover it.

Your laptop will most likely have a recovery partition. You may be able to access this by pressing a hotkey during bootup, it should tell you during boot up if this is the case. If not you will need a recovery floppy/cd which would have either came from the laptop manufacturer/supplier or you will have to contact them for it. However, I would recommend ditching vista altogether and going with Windows 7.

Keep the clips, just rotate them away from where you are polishing
