  1. £8k plus your N/A will get you a minter of a BPU 6spd bud. In fact most seem to be drifting around the 8k mark at the moment, generally you get what you pay for though
  2. I could be wrong but I think he would want rid of the PAS to aid steering feel.
  3. I think there was talk of a quick rack a while back. I just remember seeing the thread so can't say whether it was a "do they exist thread" or a "available for sale thread". Even with the fluid out they are pretty heavy bud, due to the short rack. Once on the move it shouldn't be much of an issue but at standstill it would be a pain.
  4. Ahh, he wrote "you" though And even then.... 3 car lengths?
  5. It'll be helluva heavy mate. Remember back in the days prior to ABS it took around 43 turns to get from lock to lock? They were geared differently back then.
  6. Havard, you would be better off taking out the 1st decat and leaving in the 2nd. The 2nd one is far less restrictive yet it still allows an MOT pass on emissions. It's win win really. You would probably still require a restrictor ring though. Taking off the 2nd decat would probably net you around 0.1bar of boost. Will be the equivilant of around 15-20hp. No restrictor ring required in this setup.
  7. You do realise that a car length is the length of a car? Marc is around a third of a car length in front of Kieran's car. Great pics guys, some proper calendar entries there
  8. You're lazy because you haven't listed the parts you have for sale. You are expecting members to be psychic and guess what parts you are on offer. In fact, for example, the first part that was asked about you didn't have. You haven't listed parts, condition of parts or costs of parts. Just a lazy "i've got some bits" initial post with a price range. I won't be surprised if your thread gets deleted mate. Yes it is 'only' a forum, but there is a tact to it.
  9. You missed out a figment of the guys imagination
  10. When you try to start the car does it just click rather than try to turn? If so it could be worn contacts which is a relatively cheap and easy fix. Check out this thread... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?51682-How-To-Overhaul-starter-motor-contacts&highlight=motor+contacts
  11. Probably a good idea to re-write your post in English mate. Text language is very much frowned upon and difficult to read.
  12. That's a little better but the thread still sucks. It's ridiculous mate, the laziness shown here is an absolute joke.
  13. Reported the thread for being ridiculous.
  14. Yeah that's the stuff. The only reason I didn't stick with the G3 was because I was using the mop, I didn't want to go nuts with the stuff. If the G3 gets results like that by hand then there is no question it makes more sense going that way Good find
  15. Looks like fantastic results. I've used G3 in the past but I always turn to plastix. The results with it are magic too, you really need to work at it to get it like that though. I use one of the wooskin mop buffer things to "plastix" the lights. If G3 is getting those results consistantly then I think I'll just make the change.... Because I'm worth it.
  16. Escort Cosworths still command 15k.
  17. Yeah but you can get those parts out of the N/A when you are taking the gearbox.
  18. Kind of, it's good to see a Scot win it that actually deserved it. Rhydian gettin beat by Leon was a joke.
  19. Yes but you would need a 6spd prop and driveshafts.
  20. AFAIK you still need the prop etc, but for the money that N/As are going for, even the N/A 6spds, it does make financial sense. The only MAJOR downfall IMO is the resale value.
