  1. Good stuff, hope you kept your palms up when they were taking the keys
  2. Does it say that? I didn't notice. He said in the comments he used a couple of DSLRs. Car is a nice shade of pink.
  3. Maybe 5 years ago bud. 2.5k for the gearbox is the going rate, add in the diff, the prop and the driveshafts along with the clutch, master cylinder etc and you are well into 3k. If you can get a drive in drive out 6spd swap for 3k inclusive you're doing better than everyone on here at the moment (talking N/A not AUTO) As for the engine, was that a longblock with turbo and all ancileries? The last I checked it was 3k for a swap, that did include labour but doesn't include everything else in the engine bay that is also worth money (exhaust, decats, rad, aircon, the list goes on). The engine and engine parts are easily worth 3k when stripped. That's without mentioning wheels, brakes, bodykit, suspension, suspension arms. It's worth 6k all day long, anyone selling it for less is mental IMO. Breaking it there is an easy 7k on the car, and that's EASY.
  4. Definitely, that's silly silly cheap mate. The gearbox and bits alone are worth 3k. The complete engine is worth another 3k. Car is worth 6k all day long IMO. I'm amazed noone has ripped your arm off.
  5. Did you miss Wolverine?
  6. I enjoyed it but it wasn't THAT good. It's very much a fun, leave your brain at the door, movie. If you enjoy the Xmen movies it is a good flick to watch, bit pokey though.
  7. Not sure if it's the same as I'm not up on Iphonery but it would appear the same one is around £600 new... http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/4-/10674553/Apple-iPhone-3GS-32GB-Sim-Free-Unlocked-Touch-Screen-Mobile-Phone/Product.html?searchstring=3GS&searchtype=allproducts&searchfilters=s%7b3GS%7d%2b&pa=search&page=search&d=1&ob=3&urlrefer=search Granted used ones seem to go for around £200-£300 but this is really an inbetween due to it being new but not new from a shop.
  8. Ahh, tossing and turning.
  9. I'd have been asking for the guys insurance details, or if he left the accident I would have got his plate. Totally his fault IMO and his insurance should be covering it. Yes accidents happen but if he was paying more attention to what was in front of him it could have been avoided.
  10. If Leon is top of your list then you are the one missing out Don't get me wrong, Leon is excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed it.... but the best movie ever? Not even close.
  11. Nope, no issues at all. They have been going for years.
  12. That was nothing to do with buying from them though, that was a recycling scheme from phones4u. Vodafone offered me £130 for my HTC desire, no strings.
  13. Always a bad idea. No matter how long it is before something goes wrong you will always be blamed/held accountable.
  14. No hassles with dial-a-phone but the staged cashbacks are a PITA. I don't think I've ever gotten what I was meant to due to forgetting about it. Most of the phone sales places do the same though, very rare to see a proper cash back deal. With it being a new phone it will be hard to come by also.
  15. I'll write Ski just once more for the cheap seats Bit of a thread resurrection going on here but the BP badge goes to SpartanUK1. Thanks mate, proves I'm not a nutter.
  16. Easy, The Shawshank Redemption.
  17. Good job I didn't come, would have embarassed the lot of you Looked like a right ball was had, well done Blackie. It would seem you know how to throw a party
  18. Money sent bud, didn't bother PMing you with my addy. Cheers
  19. No problem, will get the payment sorted out in a bit. I'll pm you when I've done it with my addy etc. Cheers
  20. That's fine mate, you got my address this time?
  21. Piece of corrogated cardboard on either end then a little bit of plywood taped to either end on top of the cardboard..... job done and safe as houses. You can let me know anyway, will mean I can get my head ready to fit before I even start I take it the valve etc are included? Everything other than camcovers (and cams as they are no use to me)?
  22. Does it weigh a lot? In my head I can't imagine it weighting much more than a Burger King XL meal.
