I'll be honest, I didn't read even 1/4 of that. Once you had lost the grasp that I was answering the question that you previously asked me (about refunds) I decided to give up reading. You paint a picture of yourself, and I gave a description of the picture I see. Still sounds like an air lock to me. The heaters on full will cool the water temp as you are taking the heat away from the matrix and into the cabin (heat exchange). You say that the air is out of the system... how do you know? Depending on how clear the matrix is etc the Supra can be a real pig to bleed. I found mine easy but I had a bit of a tough time with a mates. Remember that when bleeding you MUST have the water up to temp in order to have the thermostat open. When the thermostat is closed you are leaving the airlocks in the system and bleeding out the rad only.

Did the weight not change with the facelift Darryl? I'm not sure if the sum of the differences worked out to be the same weight but I know they lowered the weight of the wishbones, radiator etc while adding some extra bracing? Genuinely interested, not poking holes

You have joined a forum that is in my opinion quite well thought of, with respected members, respected opinions and respected cars (all variants, not just Supras). We have been there, seen it, and made the t-shirts. Members have ploughed 1000s of pounds into their cars only to have them fall around about their ears whilst some have built amazingly fast cars on a shoestring. The knowledge I have gained on this forum, and continue to gain, is mindblowing to say the least. I trust the information and collective knowledge on here so much that I will be using it to go ahead and strip my car to the bare bones over the winter whilst never having done anything close to it before. I was thinking about the requirement for the tools, but wasn't sure if I would need them? I have the head off the car and it hasn't got any cams in it. I might be making this up but are the tools not required when shimming with the cams in place? Not fussed about pulling the cams out and in, will be good for practice If I require them though, I would be very grateful of your offer

Have to judge it really. I've only had to use additional sealant once. As long as it is all the way round and looks like a reasonable amount you will be fine. People often overkill the amount of sealant that is used and end up with problems. Worst case scenario is there isn't enough and you just pull them apart and stick some more sealant in. If you go with too much to begin with it will be a nightmare.

It isn't as noticeable as you think but a little bit of tint won't do any harm

If you have facelift sidelights then you can just paint over them totally. A little bit of tinting spray won't be too bad, but don't go nuts as the sidelights aren't very bright as they are. Maybe fit some really bright LEDs if you tint them, to combat the tint.
