    My new supra

I think they are held on with an adhesive tape but I could be wrong. Easy enough to remove but you dont know what is behind there. Not long ago I saw pictures of a respray where they masked them up. The last thing you want to do is remove them and find the original colour behind them lol. Can easily be stuck back on if that's the case I guess... but then the seed will be planted

That'll explain it then. I don't like them but don't go on what other people think. Judge it for yourself and ignore all others

Totally agree, I've seen storm blue in person and it's a strange colour to look at. Very much varies with the light. It's very difficult to judge in pictures to be honest.
  4. Pfft the one I made between a tree and a lampost was way faster. More dangerous too, 3rd time on it the tree snapped and missed me by inches. They could at least advertise the water as shark infested or something.

    My new supra

    Looks lovely mate
  6. That TRD doesn't look well built at all. Looking at the front end nothing is gapped correctly or straight, even the headlights don't look right. I certainly wouldn't be putting that much money towards that car anyway.
  7. 452s are budget as far as performance goes but they ARE performance. Very good tyres for what they cost IMO and probably the best option given your budget. I'm running a set of 4 now. I can push them past their limits in my BPU but I think they would hold an N/A very competently, even when pushing it.
  8. Ahh, yes you are going the right way about it. If I was a foot shorter I reckon I could be tempted by a 2JZ RX7. In that case my knowledge is very limited. For supplying engines always go with the official and recommended traders, they are recommended (and official) for a reason. You can't really go wrong with Keron to be honest. Who is doing the shoehorning?
  9. Almost worthy of a "yeahthat" mate.... almost.
  10. I may have missed it, is it not being fitted to a supra then?
  11. With your resources I don't think it would be difficult Dude. Not so easy when you are an owner who is looking to have this work done. Case and point is the valve stem seals. You reckon 1k is cheap for the labour required in that job. If that's the case then what would the labour be to supply and fit what you have in mind. I would guess that part of your build would be checking the condition of the engine which I was told would be about 1k. If you think you can supply and fit reliable N/A-T, drive in drive out conversions, for 2.5k then I reckon you may well be onto something.
  12. 1JZ clutch and flywheel? Do they fit a 2JZ? You will do well to get a GTX turbo on a good deal, they are very new so tend to hold their prices well. Not to mention, from what I have seen, they are fantastic.
  13. That was my first thought too. We're 2 cynical peas in a pod I think lol.
  14. Very special mate, I'm not a general fan of the GTRs but I'm a huge fan of your one.
  15. Your google must be broken, took me about 3 seconds http://www.plymouthlaser.com/hksevc/evc-4.doc
  16. I think there might be a thread on here already
  17. I've never known anyone to inform them for decking, not to say that you shouldn't
  18. No, as with the Jspec Supra they lied. Gentlemans agreement in Japan to only advertise 280hp at the time IIRC. The power figures for the GTR are around 320hp stock.... same as the Supra
  19. No ideas folks? What I'm looking for might not even be possible to be honest.
  20. Cracking. Think I'll print that off and put it up in work
  21. Looking for a little help. I've been messing around with redirects in frames tonight as I was fed up with not being able to link direct webpages on my site. Previously if you typed in http://www.mkivsuprastar.com/AngelEyes.htm it would take you to the AngelEyes content but without the index and header etc. I have now got that sorted thanks to a little bit of Java. Anyway. When you type in the above address now, it executes the script, opens up the index page and takes you to the correct content...yay... the trouble is that the address is now http://www.mkivsuprastar.com/index.htm?AngelEyes.htm. Is there any way of masking the address back to http://www.mkivsuprastar.com? My site automatically masks due to using frames, so if you go to the main site no matter what you click the frame will do the changing and the address will stay the same. I would like this to happen again once the correct page has been found. I'm guessing it would be possible one way or another, just not sure if it would be too much to ask for such a simple website.... and even simpler designer lol. Thanks
  22. Who fitted your lights?? It's 1 bolt and 2 nuts I'll have you know /pedantic
