  1. The eBay app I think is fantastic, way better than the apple one. Can't comment on tapatalk as I haven't tried it on the iPhone.
  2. Dell by a mile. Don't touch anything celeron.
  3. Sure is What sort of things are you looking at? My favourite apps at the moment are.... ES File Explorer - I used astro previousy but the network shares are buggy. ES.has been fine, streaming even works. Sikipedia - Should need no intro UPnPlay - Connects directly to PS3 media server VPlayer - Plays everything through UPnPlay, including HD, MKV, etc. Great video player. Facebook - Don't sync the contacts though, I installed it for photo sharing. Use the add account in phonebook to sync facebook (sns or something like that) to have better quality pics. GO SMS pro - fantastic SMS app. Infinitely customisable. Also helps with the auto retrieve MMS issue. Go weather - HTC sense style clock thing available. Tapatalk pro - Forum app, easier to browse with a phone. 3G watchdog - Monitors your 3G usage, you can set your limits etc. Calculator widget - exactly as it says. Some fun games are: ILG Robo Defense Impossible Moron Test Hungry shark1/2 A few tricks I've found.... Pinch zoom on home to arrange pages, can also remove and add pages. Press menu then edit in apps folder. You can move apps around and also change 3 of the 4 main buttons from here. Add contact shortcuts to a page, rather than using a contacts widget, they update the pics etc automatically. Use social hub for everything, remove the messages/email/Facebook icons and just use it on it's own. I'll post some pics of my current setup, it's been 2 days in the making with various trial and error. There shouldn't be any development issues as the android Market is the same for both phones, as is the android build so someone's sold you there I had the same thinking with sense vs touchwiz but I'm very pleasantly surprised. I haven't had a shot of a sensation yet but the bar is set very very high by the galaxy. The galaxy was always the more superior phone but it originally came down to touchwiz vs sense for me. Sense won initially, glad I went with the galaxy for now though.
  4. As some of you may know I got this phone over the HTC Sensation. Reason being that T-mobile were taking their sweet time releasing it and I got fed up. It was really a toss up between the phones regardless and the thing that swung me towards the Sensation was HTC Sense 3.0. The hardware spec of the Samsung was always the more impressive so it wasn't a tough decision to drop the HTC for it. The phone is absolutely lightening, there's no getting away from it. The dual core CPU is fantastic and blew me away having come from the desire. Touchwiz is nowhere near as bad as I had been reading, I guess the people moaning are just too set in their ways. There are some fantastic features of the front end, but there are also some serious drawbacks. Positives: If it's not the highest spec on the general Market it's right up there. I certainly couldnt see anything better. The screen is fantastic, lots of colour and amazing contrast. Gorilla glass too so should take just about anything you can throw at it. It's as thin as a smartphone gets and weighs next to nothing. I hardly notice this thing in my pocket. Almost everything layout wise is customisable. Very intuitive and user friendly. Social Hub is fantastic but the name is shocking lol. Resizing compatible widgets is great. Allshare app works fantastic, allowing streaming over wireless with next to no setup. Insane amount of storage space. Drawbacks: Sending and receiving MMS requires you to turn data on. Every phone I have had has turned it on and off automatically. Sending and receiving MMS messages is a bit ropey. Especially auto retrieval. No scrolling phonebook widget or the ability to install one without first installing a custom launcher. No camera button. Wallpaper can be set to scrolling but main home is the far left screen rather than the centre meaning your background is way off centre depending on number of screens (I'm using 4). Synchronising your phonebook with your Facebook is a bit of a chore compared to on sense. Not a great deal of useful apps and widgets built in. There will be loads I have missed out so I'll update as I think of things. The drawbacks are really just niggles, other than the MMS data thing. I've overcome most issues by installing better apps, such as SMS go. Overall the phone is fantastic, it really makes my desire feel dated. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
  5. That's absolutely shocking behaviour. That sort of thing just doesn't happen here (well not that I have ever heard), I dare say the insurance bill for the sales guys would be incredibly high if they did put themselves forward that way here right enough. Definitely get right onto the company, if you remember the guys name that is. There is no way he should be working in public sales if that is the way he conducts himself, way over the line IMO. Yes sales guys tend not to take no for an answer, I don't take it personally they are goal driven and that's the way they do their work, but to actively stick their foot in the door? That's like something out of a movie. Next time just suggest that if he doesn't remove it you'll be claiming it as a trophy/warning for your door
  6. That's brilliant. Torque curve looks awesome, must be fantastic to drive in any gear at any revs.
  7. http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/7614/image1jnj.jpg There we go
  8. Definitely not small mate, it should make good power on a Supra. It's just because of the way the pictures have came out
  9. http://www.turbochargers.com/store/product_info.php/products_id/1668 That the chappy there?
  10. I came into the thread wondering if it would be too big for what I have planned given the title, bit of a shock to see that piddly little thing
  11. It sounds great in theory (with the extra cooling etc) but I would be a little worried about said road debris hitting a copper line. The braided oil lines can take a LOT of punishment, I'm not so sure a copper line would be up to the same sort of beating. Also, imagine the copper variety being crimped somehow, or even dented by slightly larger debris. I would be worried about it being restricted.
  12. My new phone is being delivered today so this will be avalable. I've had a look over it and taken off the protection cover things and the phone is mint. I can only see a couple of tiny marks on it after scouring the whole thing, they are on the top & bottom edges so make no difference to the use of the phone. I can take pictures if you like but I doubt the marks will show up. Phone will come with charger and PC connection cable (connects to charger also). As I said I will have a look for the box but I don't hold out much hope. Currently running Froyo. I have a couple of Micro-SD cards so I will throw one of them into the phone for the new user. I think the ones I have spare are 1GB. Any questions please ask. £140 delivered.
  13. I was having a look at the file system on my ipad, it's the same as linux on dboxes etc. I was quite surprised to see that.
  14. That is absolutely stunning. If it were mine I would tint the indicators and side markers to match the rest (black) and get a set of pre-facelift headlights and paint the innards black with chrome rings. The grey stands out a little bit for me. Beautiful though, can't wait to see it all together
  15. I wonder if mine has made an appearance on there. It would be considered pretty chavvy I reckon... SC02BOY
  16. Bad luck mate Glad noone was hurt.
  17. The dust shield? Did you check to see if you had 3 the same? Very strange if you do.
  18. You have seen me on the forum before.. yeah? Do you think I would make a mistake like that? It always helps to search bud. I never take anything at face value and I always do my research the best I can. In this case, simply type TRD knob into Ebay and the world is your oyster When I first got the Supra I was after one of these. Turned out they were no good for 6spd so I left it, but you can rest assured I found the best deal
  19. Is that with brand new kit? Whats the spec? I honestly can't see that being done right for that money.
  20. You need a turbo kit (around 3k), an ECU (Around £500), Injectors (£500), Clutch (£400), mapping(£300) and fitting(1k). Factor in another £1k for fluids, servicing items and for the bits and bobs that get forgotten about. That is the bare minimum IMO and there is no telling how reliable the car will be given that none of the engine will have been checked over and none of the wear and tear parts have been replaced. If you do the work yourself you will save the money on the fitting. The sky is the limit as far as the parts etc go, I have plucked the figures from my head given what I would consider to be the bare minimum of quality. Some things you will want to think about.. Compression Test Leakdown Test FMIC BOV Oil Pump Front main seal Rear main seal Cam Seals Cams Valve Stem Seals Gasket Kit Exhaust Wheels Tyres Brakes There will be loads I've missed. You can see where the figure of £10k comes from though.
