What channel is it on?

Sounds nuts. Even the way it spools when in neutral is impressive lol.

Would leave a stock TT I reckon. Would need to see the graph but the torque curve will most likely be far better.

Shh, he's being objective remember.

Just to add to that, the brand power of M$ is infinitely greater than any Android manufacturer when it first came out. The lemming consumer would always choose a brand they know over a brand they don't, regardless of how good the product is. It's only after word spread and people started taking notice that the Android phones took off. 2010 Q4 http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/b/b5/Smartphone_share_current.png/240px-Smartphone_share_current.png And I very much doubt there has been any change other than better for Android, and worse for Windows Mobile.

Can't say I have, I'll give that a go tonight. Is this the thing I've seen where you can point the phone at the sky? I think I saw an advert or something showing something like that.... or something.

Would you rather retract your previous statement? Contrary to popular belief, hitting 88mph, even while backpeddling, doesn't send you back in time. Pick any country of your choosing where IOS, Android and WP7 is available, does it come out on top anywhere?

http://www.mod-sales.com/direct/vehicle/,37,/34092/FV_432_MK_2.htm A 'friend' of the family has one of those, or something similar. In fact I think it may well be a tank. Menacing looking thing so it is, good fun though Got a few snaps of me and the Mrs sitting on it lol.

I can't stand iTunes. Why would I want something similar with a different name? Drag and drop works just fine for me

When was this?? Sounds like you're clutching at interweb straws. Or are you meaning in your household?
-
Oops, typo, I meant IE9. IE8 is what I had to revert back to after installing the god awful browser that is IE9.

Don't forget Symbian, they are still a major player. And what is this Zune thing you mention?

All I take from that is that you agree the phone is pretty crap with a few nice touches. Shipping numbers vs sales numbers don't lie. You can say that M$ made xxx phones but they only sold 50% of them. That shows that they are unpopular. They are unpopular because they are rubbish compared to other phones on the market. As said, some things that they do are nice and the people who rely on those "some things" are the people who will be buying them. Most people just want an all round phone with plenty of flexibility, upgradeability and customiseability. I have always gone with what I think is the best phone on the market. I tend to read reviews and other peoples experiences to give me an idea, but I take most of them with a pinch of salt and like to make my own mind up. The Windows phones are rubbish IMO, the Iphone is great if you're an apple fan... not so much if you know how a phone should operate (Android users) and the android is the leader of the pack at the moment. How long have M$ been around? They can flood the phone market anytime they choose. If they brought out a phone that was decent there would be no supply and demand issues, they have no constraints over manufacturing times or logistics. If their product was good, it would sell and M$ would have the resources to make sure it was available. Fact is, it isn't very good. Stores realise this, customers realise this and the dwindling supply figures from M$ show that they are recognising this. Pull your head out of your rear bud. Oh, IE8 sucks too.

Wow, did he hit you into the shops or something else? Hope it's repairable

When my favourite beverage turns to espresso, my going out trousers become chinos and I start to putt from the rough I might think about it. Of course I would have to hold it in my hand constantly so that everyone could see it The Iphone is miles behind the SG2. For flexibility it was even miles behind my desire, but it was a nicer phone with better tech than the desire.

QSV = Quick Spool Valve. Basically it's a plate that sits between the turbo and the manifold. It's divided with one side being open and the other side being a butterfly valve. When the engine load is lower, the valve is closed forcing all the gas through the one divide thus increasing the velocity. This spools the turbo quicker at low RPMs/loads. When the load increases the valve is actuated (boost pressure activated) and this opens the valve allowing gas to pass through both divides.

Jamie, there's a plug in the drivers side of the engine bay that controlls the power steering. Not sure exactly how it works but it is used to sense when you are over a certain speed and set the power steering. When my car was getting work many moons ago the fitter left it unplugged so I had motorway power steering all the time, making it more difficult to turn when stationary. It wasn't a tank or anything, just noticeably more difficult. This could VERY easily be switched in order to turn it on off at your leisure. Simply break one of the connections with a switch to the cabin and bob's your uncle. Might make the difference you are after. Very easy to check, just unplug it and see what you think. On the stock TT, as you face the car from the front, it's just to the left of tubby 1.

This doesn't sound like your boost controller Si, sounds like something else is up. The boost controller solenoid basically sits between the turbo and the wastegate. The solenoid stays firmly shut, not bleeding, until the desired boost level is seen from the turbo. When the boost level is reached (or slightly passed depending on gain AFAIK) the solenoid then opens, the pressure then opens the wastegate and exhaust gas is released. The solenoid then fluctuates to keep the desired boost level. If you have the controller set at 1.0bar, and the solenoid is OK, then it would really point to the system losing pressure somewhere.... or, worst case scenario, the turbo not being able to produce the pressure because of damage. I would recommend getting yourself a manual boost controller. That way when things like this do happen you can quickly check if the boost controller is at fault. Do the obvious checks first though (intercooler pipes, split hoses, compressor vanes of the turbo, shaft play, free turning, etc).

Edin, see if your narrow vision allows this article to be read in full. http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2011/apr/18/smartphone-market-android-win-nokia-rim-lose Of course, the billions of users worldwide are all wrong. Microsoft is right and the windows phones are clearly the greatest. Go Microsoft!!

It can't be anything to do with that though bud. As I said, the market is the same.. the apps are the same. The Sensation and the Galaxy SII are running the same version of Android. It's like 2 different spec PCs running Windows 7, the software for them both is exactly the same as the operating system is the same. There can be no difference in developing apps and commercial things for the phones. The difference lies in creating hacks, roots and cracks for either phone as there will be slight driver differences. That's not what you're on about though Dual (duel is a fight) cores use less battery life than single cores so where exactly are you getting your information from? What on earth are you on about? The windows mobiles? They are absolutely terrible, my Mother in Law had one and got rid of it after a month. It had some nice touches to it but overall it was just ghastly. Here we go with the M$ rules expo again. Let me put something to you bud. If you are right, why does every review in the world disagree with you? Why are millions of users turning to Android every single day? Much more than are turning to Windows and actually more now than turn to IOS. You are completely dillusional, honestly.

The specs of the above are excellent value for money. Not sure on the build quality of that brand though. Out of the 3 I would go with the one at 288. The extra ram isn't worth the outlay.

Not tried the speech commands yet, on my too list. You should be able to download keyboards though. I need to try swype too.

Forgot to mention the taskmanager. This is one of the best additions. Simply hold the home button to see recent apps, hit task manager to view open programs and kill them if you choose. Also able to view downloads etc. I use it constantly.

About as good as it gets for a smartphone. I get a whole day on 1 charge and that's pounding it.
