  1. Erm, that the police were called..... and involved a few times? At least you have the chance to read it now Edit: Man you love that edit button. Everytime I reply to one of your posts you have edited it with additional information/questions. Why not just take the time and think about what you want to say before hitting the button? Anyway, to answer your question do a little search for the word "civil" in the quote you have posted up. Or, just read it.
  2. Exactly, great analogy
  3. You missed some chunks then if you didn't know the police were called and involved a few times.
  4. I'm not really surprised by that to be honest. Geeks tend to have higher IQs than the average pleb and will generally stray away from the norm (IE). I'm only 50% geek so I use IE & Chrome.
  5. I'm getting the impression that you haven't read the full story now. Have a read at it bud. For example... the police were called and it was deemed a civil matter.
  6. You're not following the situation bud. The people entering the property are staking claims on items, they claim to own them. The only people who can say they are stealing is the owners. The staff can only protect the items they know that are owned by customers or themselves. IMO they did a damn good job to get most of the customers cars into safe hands, I've seen many stories like this going down a VERY different path. Thinking any differently is living in a fantasy land.
  7. It's a civil matter mate, police can't do a lot in that sort of situation.
  8. I had a little mess around with one, but it was only in order to crop a picture for MMS purposes. I'll have a look at Vignette I use Go SMS Pro rather than the standard SMS app (Which is absolutely terrible). It gets rid of a lot of the annoying buggy crappy things that tend to happen with it. It's also infinitely customiseable. I have mine fully customised (font's, colours, layout, notifications, etc) which took AGES to setup, but once done it's fantastic. It may sound like overkill but it's great to have seperate notifications for an SMS/MMS being sent, an SMS/MMS failing, an SMS/MMS being Delivered and an SMS/MMS arriving...... "It's Outta here" - American Voice (baseball) - Message Sent Successfully "Doh" - Homer Simpson - Message Sending Failed "Woohoo" - Homer Simpson - Message Delivered "Da Da" - My Little Girl - Message arrived I just checked and you can read a good portion of the SMS while typing in portrait. The suggested words don't overlap the box
  9. I don't think I'll have the cash spare to do it that way unfortunately. It'll either be good 2nd hand arms or new poly bushes. I'll probably go with good low mileage 2nd handers though, with an aim to replace with new during the next refurb. All my cash is going into the engine at the moment and anything left over will be for wheels and rubber It'll be good when you get to stand out in front of your hard work and determination mate. Look forward to the day when you finaly say "she's finished........... for now" You still won't be done though....... as I'll be picking your brain via PM in a few months
  10. Unfortunately not. Suspension/Chassis will all be taking a hit on the time front as well. Looking at either all new bushes or new arms.... or something. Will see when I pull it all apart. Only thing I won't be touching is the bodywork and 99% of the interior really. Wiring will take a bit of time though. My real trouble is going to be time constraints with having the little one. I'll just be getting on a roll after an hour or 2 of working when it'll be time to come in and spend time with girly. Not that I would ever trade that, it'll just mean that it will take me a little longer
  11. Given the hours you have put into this I seriously wonder what I have in front of me. I'm not going through the body transformation you are, or taking the engine bay anywhere near the levels you are, but I'm taking everything mechanical from the top down to bits and freshening up what I can. At first I thought it would be a couple of months but given how long it has taken you, and taking into account the sleepless nights you have put into it, I can't see me getting this done anytime soon. Great work John, the end is most definitely in sight!
  12. What power are you running? T1Rs are probably the best of the bunch grip wise, F1s are probably the better tyre overall and 452s are OK. I run 452s as that is what was on my alloys when I got them, no complaints really they just aren't the best at anything. For BPU levels they are absolutely fine. Cheap as chips too I wouldn't recommend anything less than 452s for a TT though, getting into back end out ditch finder territory after them.
  13. Scott

    now then

Very refreshing, a newbie with his head screwed on the right way! Welcome to the forum, you are going about it all the right way so best of luck to you
  14. I'm not surprised, I've been privvy to your 'offers' I can picture you haggling in a petrol station
  15. I could be wrong but I'm sure there was a transformers movie/episode where they travelled back in time so don't count him out just yet.
  16. Sorry to hear of your woes Jurgen, seems neverending. Glad it's getting sorted out though. Absolutely. Having read what Jurgen has gone through and how JUN are supporting him, if I was in the market for such items, I would buy from them in a heartbeat. In fact I would step over a lot of well known tuners in order to get to JUN given how they are standing by their customers. Too many companies (Tuners, Car makers, Compost Sellers) will not put their hands up when they get something wrong. Even if they do, eventually, they will fight tooth and nail to avoid liability. Very refreshing to see this sort of response. Well done to JUN and well done to Jurgen for making a clearly sensible choice of supplier
  17. Buy them anyway, then leave negative feedback if it annoys you that much
  18. The 'Phone' button will always take you into either 'Logs' or 'Dialer'. I think it basically puts you into whichever one you were on last. If you hit 'Phone', then select the 'Dialer' tab, then hit exit and then hit the 'Phone' button again, it should take you into the 'Dialer'. The 'Contacts' button is the one that will take you straight into the 'Contacts' tab You can swap them round if you would rather have it that way, it just means that you will need to hit the tab on the left should you want to dial a number
  19. I'm not surprised it passes. The N/A doesn't get a CAT test
  20. I just tried 'waffle' and it was in my dictionary already. Not really sure what's going on with yours Charlotte.
  21. It is on the large side, but the phone is all screen so it's a trade off really. Smaller phone = smaller screen. However, it's so light and so thin that I literally don't notice it in my pocket. I find myself checking my pockets more often as I think I have left it somewhere. I had the HTC Desire before this phone and it was much more apparent in your pocket. The square edges of the Galaxy doesn't do it any favours, it makes it feel a little bigger in the hands than it would if it had rounded edges. As I said though, it's a tradeoff and one that I am happy to make As for the screen, it's gorilla glass (as LBM said). Check out youtube for some vids I've not even looked at the predictive text, I just turned it on and left it too it. Coming from the Desire it took a bit of getting used to, the way it selects words etc is different. It does feel a little clumsy at times but I haven't had it doing anything like that with me. I'll try typing in waffle later and see what happens It is a massive step up in terms of technology. The screen is better, the processor is much better and the memory etc is better. The OS has some nice upgrades too. Not sure if it would be a huge upgrade for you personally but it's certainly a huge upgrade as far as phone comparison goes. I didn't really rate the Galaxy S to be honest. Desire S isn't quite in the same league but it is a cracking phone. I thought about getting one of those before I read about the sensation (same league). In all honesty if it wasn't for T-Mobile dragging their heels I would have one of those over the S2 but I'm plesantly surprised that the change wasn't as much hassle as I was expecting (although I do miss some of the Sense touches).
  22. Quite a few members have them, seen quite a few over the years. VVTi only option IIRC. These fetch top dollar in the US, much the same as the TRD wheels. You will sell it no bother over the pond
