  1. I'm looking to get some ducting. The only trouble is I need it to hold its shape. The only thing I can think of to describe what I'm after is the neck of a straw. I'm looking for ducting that I can sculpt into a shape and it will hold. Any ideas what I should be searching for? All the flexible ducting I can find is floppy
  2. I can only ask. Any chance you could price the shipping for me? Not in a hurry
  3. Although I suspect that it's the charcoal canister making the noise rather than the bearings. A turbo timer is absolutely useless though. Pointless gimmick that can see you fined. It states in the Supra manual that after hard driving, uphill driving or trailering to make sure the last 30 to 120 seconds of your journey is off boost. If it isn't, allow the car to idle for a minute before switching off. How many people will this really apply to though? They are just covering themselves for the idiots that think cruise control means the car drives itself. I've had a turbo timer function for 3 years now and not used it once.
  4. Thanks Nic. I don't mind a little cutting and shutting
  5. That's really reasonable mate. Unfortunately the head has only been chemically cleaned and I've had my mits all over it since. If I was close I would definitely take you up on the offer but with the shipping both ways and additional prep work it will be very expensive so I'll just stick to hand painting it. Fortunately I've managed to get some of the stuff from work so it'll do nicely. I googled kephos coating and the finish is stunning. I love that it can still be fully crack tested also. Ideal for blocks/heads where the temps are reasonable.
  6. Cheers Si, and thanks for all the advice previously
  7. Fitted, mapped and with all the worthwhile toys it will be around 3k. You won't see much change from that anyway.
  8. I quite fancy one of these. Sorry if this has been answered already but does the price include shipping?
  9. Fantastic Lee, just what I was after. Viper performance sounds ideal. I've seen the eBay stuff and I don't think it will cut it for me. The intercooler I have is a greddy 4 row as far as I can tell (4" core). I think the ports are 3.5" hence why I was thinking that would be ideal. The turbo is the 6765 billet which I think is either 2.5 or 3" outlet and the intake is the stock one... 3" I think? I already have a reducer on the intake side as the piping there is 3.5". It's more the tubby side I'm struggling with.
  10. Strangely it's gotten better since the riots started. I wonder why.
  11. Looking at the size of them in that pic you must be talking about US horses. I'm not going to pod as some pikey nicked my turbos. I wouldn't embarass myself by turning up in an N/A
  12. As above really, I've had a quick look around and I'm struggling to find single intercooler pipes. I know a couple of exhaust places that are local to me but I don't want to be using heavy exhaust steels for intercooler pipes. Any suggestions on where is best to buy these parts, or have them made? Also, what size piping is recommended? Looking to run around 700hp on a stock manifold so I'm thinking I'll need as little restriction in the piping as possible. I was thinking 3.5"?
  13. No problem, PM is on its way. It doesn't require anything specific. The clamps I have are Mikalor ones from ebay. I think they were £1.50 each delivered lol. You can either get a set of those or go with the normal jubilee type. I can send you 1 with the pipe if you like. That way you can look it over, measure it and see if that's what you fancy. I only need 2 but I will keep at least 1 other one as a spare
  14. Very easy to install IMO. I wired mine in prior to the radio harness. 3 wires... ignition +ive, Battery +ive and earth. From there you just run the cable from the cabin to the engine bay and plug the solenoid in. Solenoid hooks up to the turbo the same as every other EBC. You may need a t-piece for the back of the gauge though. It needs manifold pressure the same as a boost gauge does (unless you are replacing a mechanical boost gauge where you could just use its feed. I fitted mine in about 2 hours, that was taking my time with the panels and the wiring etc.
  15. Yeah, as above folks I'm pretty sure these are sold. Just need to make 100% sure they are 3" and if they are they are gone. Cheers
  16. Sounds to good to be true. If all is well it's definitely a good buy though.
  17. The one on ebay isn't mine bud. The only ones I've seen on ebay have been from Japan. The other one I know of is in a skyline
  18. Thanks. Was almost a shame stripping it down
  19. Stainless radiator cooling pipe all shined up. Comes with couplers but not the clamps. £35 posted in the UK
  20. Haven't had a chance to clean them yet but even then they look great
  21. Do you draw air through your teeth before you quote prices? Wasn't me bud, JP had an issue that I've seen first hand. Also heard of other people complaining of it flaking off in certain areas. Think I'll just grab some paint from my work, it's rock solid. It's meant to be sprayed on but I doubt there will be any issues using a brush.
  22. Not coming unfortunately bud. Would feel silly going without my Supra
