  1. That's all way over my head. However I'm in to find out if someone points out how much fuel the stock injectors can flow in relation to BHP in the 2JZ
  2. As above. Got a set of 4 in good original condition. Pictures to follow. Not sure what to ask for them so open to offers for now. I can't even remember what I paid for them.
  3. 4. N/As are bullet proof bud. If you get a decent one that's been serviced well for its life, and continue to service it appropriately it will probably outlive you The major downfall with them is the fuel, tax and insurance costs. The same goes for all performance cars nowadays though. Make sure that your insurance quotes are for MKIVs though, sometimes the companies mix them up (happened a lot previously) and they give quotes for the MKIII which is a fair bit cheaper. Welcome to the forum and happy hunting.
  5. No mate, there's loads of variations. Have a look in the technical section. There are loads of faq's etc that you can swot up on
  6. Welcome. They did indeed do a tt aero. Auto only though, needs to be converted.
  7. Good stuff, is it the whole lot or just the uppers, lowers, etc?
  8. Only at the weekend
  9. What wishbones is it you have?
  10. Damn, missed out on some fun I love talking to screwballs.
  11. Come on, get the story shared. I'm guessing nutter in the pub reading tea leaves?
  12. I'll take that bud. Can either send via paypal or bank transfer, whichever you prefer Edit, as Imi says the last bag of tricks isn't required. Not sure what those are.
  13. Water neck elbow thing. Sure someone mentioned that earlier
  14. If the timing was better I would have had this in a heartbeat I'm going to be buying a longblock to play with next year.
  15. This clearly doesn't happen to you then. Believe me mate, you are incredibly naive if you think the type of person that does these things does them only once. The mates that I am talking about are notorious for it. The reason they get themselves into trouble in the first place is because they think I will get them out of it. As soon as we are all out together they, one in particular, struts around like the cock of the walk because they are out with myself and my other mate (both pretty big). In the past we have bailed him out simply by going over and talking to people, they often calm down when they realise they are dealing with 2 6'5 18 stone guys rather than the 10 stone mate of ours. We got fed up of them getting into trouble and running to us expecting us to deal with it so eventually we just left him to it. He soon stopped it in our company, although my guess is he still acts like an idiot when out with other people. When he did get a slap we simply explained that it was either that guy that was going to hit him, or us that was going to. Don't get me wrong, I would never let any of my friends get a pasting if I could help it. As soon as enough is enough I'll try to stop the fight, if I end up involved then at that point I will stand by my friend but when someone deserves a slap they deserve a slap regardless of whether they are your friend or not. Thankfully most of those days are behind me as I'm getting on a bit Oh.... to the op... tell your mate not to jump in front of my car again
  16. No worries, glad things are looking better
  17. If your exhaust is toasting it then yes, I guess it would. My MR2 was the opposite, when it was warm it would loosen up. This is because the travel was not correct on the pedal. I'm now thinking that your issue may be more to do with the gearbox selector or something around that area. Can only try the cluth pedal though, it certainly won't go wrong. At least you can lift it off the floor a bit
  18. Not sure how much of a concern it is with a single turbo, but I know it isn't cause for alarm when running BPU etc. I can't really see it causing much of an issue to be honest but wait for more experienced replies just in case I would definitely get it seen to, but I wouldn't be in a major hurry personally.
  19. Cold start should be 11s, warm start should be 13s creeping into 14s. As already said I think black smoke would point to the injectors (overfueling).
