  1. Exactly, not even a £30 saving. Timing belt Aux Belt approx £45 Tensioner £30
  2. I'll be on the strip at some point, definitely. I'll be aiming to go for it too. I'll just keep my eyes peeled and buy one when it comes up. What's the going rate on them Jamie? I take it I'll need the big diff prop too? Driveshafts? Cheers
  3. I'll say it again for the cheap seats. You do know it only comes with 2 belts yeah?
  4. As above. I've just been thinking through the jobs I have to do on my car and I'm now thinking about the diff. I have a facelift RZ which I assume has the small diff? Can these take a reasonable amount of power or should I be budgeting for a big casing diff?
  5. Good stuff, keep it simple. 2 holes and 3rd drilled & tapped hole. 2 bolts to screw onto the wheel and a long bolt to push off the centre
  6. It didn't really bother me till my mid teens. I did try everything though. In the end lazyness and lager turned out to be the "fix". Once I left school there was no PE which meant no basketball (massive fan, played the weekends, lunchtimes and most nights). Fitness went out the window and nightclubs and drinking flew in. I noticed a massive change around 21 as before when I ate my weight in junk (sweets, biscuits, fizzy juice, crisps, every fat filled food you could imagine and no salad or veg) I wouldn't gain anything, whereas now I was properly gaining weight. I started hitting the gym again and built up like I would have expected before (slower metabolism). I was quite happy but I changed out vodka drinks with pints of lager, ditched the gym after a couple of years and the rest is history
  7. Great thread. 1. Build a reliable Single with good power & driveability. 2. 18" TE37 Super laps 3. Run some 1/4 miles 4. Get under 12 seconds in the 1/4 5. Get it on a track and tear it up (Nurburgring would be the dream).
  8. Yeah, it wasn't down to training or trying to be like that though. I was just seriously skinny. I had the cavity in my chest and all that. The reason for the training was to bulk myself up a bit. Being 6'4" and seriously skinny meant that I would look like drip of water if I didn't get some muscle on me. I was always fit & active when I was younger, strong as an ox too but I didn't look it. if I was an average height I would have had an above average build. On my large frame I just looked drawn though. When I was training I looked like swampthing as I would have veins EVERYWHERE lol. Edit: Oh, I was measured in the gym/fitness club. Not sure how accurate those measurements are but that's what they came out with. They did a caliper test and something on my thumb? A couple of the guys at the gym who were properly ripped hit in about 8 iirc. I looked nothing like those guys though lol.
  9. Ahh but as I pointed out that could be you replying to yourself. Blackie(1) - Need some hetrosexual tablets Blackie(2) - Got some (inferring that they have some for sale) Blackie(3) - Yeah right, I'm guesing you haven't tried them? (inferring that blackie2 is just as gay as blackie1)
  10. Yup. 6 pack? Pah! I've got a full keg. Although, now that I think of it, when I did the BK challenge I was an apprentice. At that time you would have found more meat on a butchers pencil. I was heavily into training and my bodyfat was at 3%. I used to eat constant crap but would never put a lb on thanks to my metabolism, training and sports. How times have changed
  11. I'm just a loveable guy. BTW if you hit "edit" and then change the title to "found" people will know you got what you were after
  12. I once ate 2 XL bacon double cheeseburger meals from burger king. I was still feeling a little peckish after the first so I made a sarcy remark to my friends. One of them said to go and get another one, which then sort of became a challenge. I couldn't back down so I went for it, scoffed the lot too other than the 2nd XL coke. The girl that challenged me to do it said she felt sick watching me Oh, I've had a 52oz steak too (Sizzlers challenge). Did that in as well
  13. Made a good start on the intake side of the engine bay. The loom is an absolute PITA to work around lol. Think I'm just going to pull it right out the way so that I an get in about everything properly Intake, Fuel Rail, Lower Runners, Pressure tank, etc all off.
  14. Are you talking to yourself or informing us that you have found one?
  15. I can't really see it being an issue to be honest. He maybe recommended the other way to save having to find a hose that fits
  16. Magic. I'm just going to totally chop my current pipe. No matter what one I go for I'm going to have to fab it so I'll just go with the one I have I'm removing the manifold coolant lines too, will there be any downfall with that?
  17. Magic, that backs up Johns opinion on it all Just to be sure, he was definitely referring to the oil cooler and not to the heater matrix?
  18. Pfft I'd knock that lot out while waiting on my dinner to be cooked.
  19. Will that not reduce the flow around the head though? No disadvantage by deleting the feed at that side?
  20. Sweet!!! That's my new destkop background
