  1. That's early to be hitting the podium surely? 3 years and you've worked your way to, almost, the top? I'd say that's good going
  2. Where are you getting 4500 from? The manual I read said 6k or 6 months for the first 2 services then 12k or annually after that.
  3. Ive always been annually or 8k, whichever comes first. Anything else is a waste of money imo. Had this discussion on imoc a few times and I also chimed in on the thread you mentioned. Each to their own though.
  4. Great work, fantastic that it's paying off so early
  5. Give me a shout when you're selling, I might be 'interesting' depending on the price
  6. What's the best diameter wheel to get? 350 seems about the most common, any idea what size the stock wheel is?
  7. Is the stubby one just narrower than the other ones? I just ordered a driftworks airbag delete boss as I need the airbag removed. The snap off kit I am looking at is this one... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SNAP-OFF-BOSS-KIT-FITS-TOYOTA-MR2-SUPRA-CELICA-CAMRY-/170579084365?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27b74e444d This is the slimline version, I was hoping it would help with the stalk issue. I don't really mind if I need to take my hands off though Jamie, you don't have any side photos do you showing the profile of your wheel out from the dash? Just so that I can see the difference all the adapters etc make
  8. I'm looking to get a new steering wheel setup now that I know it won't make too much of a difference to my insurance. I'm looking around at the various options regarding bosses and came across the snap off option. Are there any downfalls to having these installed? I can only think of positives but I was wondering if there was issues with feeling or anything like that. Is a boss just a boss? I'm not a brand whore so I just want one that works. The ABS one from Driftworks is coming in at around £60, I can get the snapp off adapter for around £40 so would be £100 all in. Lastly, where is the best place to buy a wheel? What wheels have you guys got? Comments, thoughts, recommendations? Thanks Oh, if anyone is selling any of the above give me a shout
  9. Disconnect the power steering speed sensor. When that's off it goes to motorway weight which is a bit heavier than normal but still not tank like
  10. Yup definitely looks the part, very light and very well put together Yup, it was always on the cards. Only difference from my original plan is it isn't the DBB Yup, 0.81 Magic mate, thanks
  11. No mate, just one of the guys on the forum. It's 2nd hand bud
  12. Did she point out the Bible was written by a couple of men with an imagination millions of years after early man first existed? How many Women contributed to the bible? Strange that God would only share his gift with the males. It's also strange that the bible forbids females from teaching, yet your Mum taught you? Can't be much of a follower if you disregard what the almightly lawrd has requested.
  13. Permission to act like a kid at christmas
  14. I read of a guy in the states running an ssqv at 32psi. The way they work should mean they can hold the pressure no bother but I doubt they would flow anywhere near enough at that level to stop compressor stall. The hks racing can flow up to 800hp worth apparently.
  15. Glad to hear you're out bud. Get well soon.
  16. Welding it should be fine but it would need re-machined for flatness and maybe even the injector hole. More hassle than it's worth IMO.
  17. I was thinking that but I then wondered if the aftermarket TBs had central heating or not? My car is always garaged so I would be surprised if it froze. I always let my car heat up in the winter also so I doubt the engine bay temps would be low enough to allow the tb to freeze. I'll still keep it under advisement though, if I know it's potentially an issue I can take the above measures to make sure the tb is toasty.

    Oil pump

Engine out or subframe off I'm afraid
  19. As i understand it the main focus is on water because we can easily identify it. I remember seeing a show years back where it was explained that the possibilities were infinite and that we are best to simply concentrate on what we know rather than what we don't. Makes sense really
  20. I've never done a seance but I've seen plenty. Have a watch of Penn and Teller, bullsh*t season 1 episode 1. Ouija boards are even worse, someone always shoves the glass around.
