  1. Using my psychic ability I'm going to throw a shot in the dark and guess that it's carbon with lacquer. Of course you may think I cheated and actually read the first post, but honestly... just like yourself... I didn't
  2. I think we should have a vote on that
  3. Glad my favourite exhaust in the world went to a good home
  4. Late as usual I bought these... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/180643596450?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 Doesn't mention any tooling to fit them?
  5. Do you know what that tool is called? I can't find anything
  6. Cheers mate, definitely going to be soaking it then I'm happy to use stainless wire if need be, I can even bring home wire locking pliers
  7. Damn, I didn't realise a tool was required lol. This is the stuff I was looking at, what you reckon? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HIGH-HEAT-EXHAUST-WRAP-COATING-THERMO-TEC-11oz-/170668505058?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item27bca2b7e2
  8. What are you tools you used mate? I don't recognise the thing in the left What enamel paint did you use? I was looking at some options for that. Cheers
  9. Better to just use the repair manuals to be honest.
  10. What are peoples thoughts with soaking it before fitting it? I can see the positives but I assume there are negatives too?
  11. Yeah I was well impressed with the cooler, it feels VERY well made. A lot more solid than I expected so I'm happy Yeah, it has to be Syvecs
  12. Did you wet it to keep the dust down? I know... I know!!
  13. http://www.funkypower.co.uk/catalogue.php?t=p&make=UNIVERSAL&model=&year=&level1=&level2=&level3=&id_product=4809 I reckon that stuff looks pretty good?
  14. Is yours the big long one Brendan? If 15m covers the big N/A one then it should do my manifold no bother. Might need to buy some more for the DP though. Did you go with 2" all the way?
  15. How much heat wrap should I be looking to buy? I'm aware that the stuff doesn't really go as far as you think it might but I don't want to go OTT with the spending. I'm looking to heatwrap the boostlogic T4 manifold and the downpipe. Just looking for a ballpark figure, I don't need it to the nearest inch or anything Thanks
  16. I just had a look through the stuff that I got from JP/Lee........ I hardly need a thing, fantastic I didn't expect the oil adapter to be there but it is, I also have all the fittings I need for the drain. I got a couple of gaskets that I knew I would need and I got the one I needed for the turbo with it so I'm good to go. Can't wait to get cracking on
  17. The entire thread makes no sense now, I think it should be removed
  18. Maybe in a previous life. I cant see it as a halloween winner though.
  19. You need to take it for a proper run to get it out of the low charge zone. It is most likely fubarred though.
  20. http://mkiv.com/manual/manualtt/maintenance_schedule/ Just found that which says for normal conditions it should be 5k or 6 months. They must have recommended syrup as the oil of choice in that case lol. http://www.euro-spec2000.co.uk/Toyota/Supra/ That looks more normal.
  21. Japanese service book? That will be kms then?
