  1. I'm looking to refresh all the wishbones etc on my car. I remember reading somewhere that there were differences between the 2, and the part numbers would support this, I'm just wondering what those differences are. I have it in my mind the bushes were stiffer in the pre-facelift? What set would be considered the best? If I wanted to change to pre-facelift, I have facelift, what would I require? Any modifications required or do I just swap over the whole wishbone assy and the job is done? What about the hubs? Thanks
  2. I've pm'd you about a few bits mate. You been on hols? Was a week or so back
  3. Your average joe won't care about that. They just want to have fun
  4. Definitely. Pulling in ram charged cold air makes the turbos job a bit easier, much better than muddy hot air from the engine bay anyway. If you remove the filter (serious drag racing) then you can mate it right up with the forced front and get even more from it. For your average joe it probably won't make that much of a difference though.
  5. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?245016-Black-Tinted-Pre-Facelift-J-Spec-Rear-Lights-x2 Even better
  6. Got any snake oil going spare? Got your seals packed by the way, I'm working tomorrow so I'll try to pop to the post office on my way home
  7. I'm not meaning to sound cheeky here, although I know it will come across this way, but I always have a really tough time reading your posts. Is English your first language? The reason I ask is that it's easy to forgive if it isn't, but if it is then you are really lazy with your posting. Text 'speech' is also forbidden on the forum.
  8. Where do you want to measure the intake temperature? If it's before the gasket then it'll make no difference.
  9. Are you sure you didn't get the prices back to front? The rears are slightly bigger IIRC. Regardless, I wouldn't be buying them from Mr T
  10. Yes but it's a PITA of a job. One of the axles is harder than the other and requires the whole hub to come off.
  11. Must have had to jump out to be able to stop at the location he wanted also. Have you ever tried braking in one of those things Awesome cars though, I've always had a softspot for them.
  12. Stone guards need hacked off regardless of what option you take
  13. Does that mean my thanking is out the window? I'm a little gutted by that. I always look forward to a good thanking from you
  14. As above really. Depending on the cost I wouldn't mind replacing the whole lot, 8 fronts and 4 rears. They are almost double the price of new stock ones though
  15. Does it immediately fall or does it hold at 16V+?
  16. Found a spare 5 on the works PC so I've sent the money over mate. My addy is in the notes of the PP transaction. Cheers
  17. Coolio, stick me down for one too mate. I'll send the money over tonight

    Beather setups

Good spot Dan, cheers for that. Would there be any harm in running the exhaust breather and just blocking off the intake side?
  19. I was talking about gunmetal, like I suggested earlier Silver also looks good.
  20. The regulator is on the alternator itself and it should be capping your charge at around 14.5v.
