  1. No.1 was watchable. The rest have been dross. The idea is lost when the industry turns it into a cash pinata. Much like the saw series. The originality of the first movie is always going to be overshadowed by the same "twists" and ideas being thrown in front of you constantly. Don't get me wrong, I'll still watch it lol.

    Evo advise.

They lost their appeal for me when the 7 was born. If my hand was forced it would be an Evo6 TME in black. Evo V is the lightest & fastest at that power, also the most agressive IMO but the VI edges it in the "beauty" stakes. Prior to owning one, I loved them. I can't stand them now.

They fall short of a lot less than a Supra bud. I went from an Evo V RS to an MR2 turbo with 12 less HP and that was 4 years older. The difference was night and day, the MR2 was a complete breath of fresh air. I'll never have an evo again. All the other 4wd "rally" cars fall into the same bracket for me.
  4. That's quality! Never seen that before
  5. I don't think it gets much better than that. What an absolute bargain, and for a great cause. Win win!
  6. What's the deal with removing the crap on the face of the block from where the headgasket was? I was pointed towards some spray on Ebay that should dissolve it but I'm worried about it getting into the coolant, does it just evaporate or should I be looking to something else? Also, given that there is crap on there should I be using gasket paste/sealer or something like that? The manual doesn't mention it but I'm wondering where the gunky stuff on there has came from.
  7. Just found a picture of them from Jamies build thread... They don't look like that now though
  8. Yeah I'll get some pics sorted for you mate. I've got the option of open or plumbed into the mid pipe. JP had them adapted to give the option
  9. Good find. Is that stuff safe enough to go down the coolant holes then? I take it it evaporates
  10. I've got the head to scrape to get the crap off of it. I take it sealant is used for the gasket? What is the best method for removing the gunk, I was thinking scraper but I'm worried about little bits of it falling down into the holes. Not really sure how to avoid it?
  11. Got a few items in today Steering Wheel Snap off Boss Black Heat Wrap Rad Cap (Up for sale) Heat Shield Fuel Lines (Unfortunately couple of them aren't long enough) I then got cracking with the engine bay spruce. Finished off the bay and then set to work on the block. I've decided I'm just going to leave the head so I've left the oil pump. Will give everything a good degrease and I'll be good to go.
  12. I think you missed the main one mate lol. (((combine16(if('GPS LAT HW'>32767,('GPS LAT HW'-65536),'GPS LAT HW'),'GPS LAT LW')/10000000)-(floor(combine16(if('GPS LAT HW'>32767,('GPS LAT HW'-65536),'GPS LAT HW'),'GPS LAT LW')/10000000)))/0.6)+(floor(combine16(if('GPS LAT HW'>32767,('GPS LAT HW'-65536),'GPS LAT HW'),'GPS LAT LW')/10000000))
  13. Yeah, thats normal. No good to you though. Floor is what you're after
  14. Andy posted up what you need mate
  15. Chris, can you see what "round(52.4)" and "Round(52.6)" gives. If they both give 52 then we're golden Edit: Missed floor lol.
  16. That's the decimal thing I was talking about Chris. To go from decimal to mins and seconds you need to multiply the fraction by 0.6, to go the opposite way you divide by 0.6. That is the reason they are different, the answer you get from the function above gives you it in mins/secs whereas the other one is in decimal. In order to work it out you need to take everything after the decimal point and divide by 0.6 to get them both the same. Not sure exactly how you will do that in this program. What is the command list? In Excel I used "Fix" or "Rounddown",IIRC, to get it to shorten the 52.52665 (made up) to 52. I then subtracted 52 from the number giving 0.52665. I then divided by 0.6 and added to the 52 to get the decimal figure.
  17. Stuff it, I'll give it a go. If it's tat and I can't be bothered then I'll just sell it on lol. I don't mind a fiddly install at all. As I say, as long as it feels solid once on I'm happy
  18. Try.. If(num>3267, num-65536, num) Not sure of the syntax of the program you are using though.
