  1. Is my inbox full or something? Not one offer of a loan
  2. Sadly I don't accept sexual favours from men
  3. Not sure, how old is your toyota and how old is the shell helix brand? Do you think Toyota recommend the best oil for their cars or do you think they offer the product of whoever they are in bed with that has a reasonable enough standard?
  4. Dont mix oils. That stuff will be ok but if it were me I would be buying a known and recommended oil such as fuchs pro s 10w50.
  5. The one in my sig always works. Perhaps the mods should link that into the forum architecture somehow.
  6. Totally agree, i think wires are being crossed. The op said semi synth only, I asked why as fully synth would also be an option, and imo a superior one. I was asking where the semi synth only comment was coming from One thing to remember is that toyota also recommended 4k or 6 month oil changes with the oil they recommended. I always go fully synth and high quality oil, but I dont change any more than once per year. Modern day oils are far better than they were when Toyota made their recommendations.
  7. Surely fully synthetic would be even better though?
  8. Very few options for that unfortunately. 6 pucks are grabby, any clutch with its own flywheel will be noisy and good organic clutches will be heavy. There is a hybrid one being touted in america that seems reasonable. I would rather have a go first though.
  9. Why only semi synthetic? I personally cant see any issues with it but i would always go with what opie and other oil men recommend. For the sake of 50 quid I'd rather be safe than sorry.
  10. Why would you buy oil that isnt recommended when there are so many recommendations to choose from? Did you get it for free? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?56684-FAQ-Oil-Fluid-Interval-Capacity-Steering-Brake-Coolant-Diff-Engine.&p=2844732&viewfull=1#post2844732 That person asked about helix oil in the oil faq thread. It seems the search is now working, well done mods.
  11. Did someone delete the oil faq or is the search function down again?

  14. Thats a great buy. Lot of car for the money there. Surprised someone hasnt snapped your hand off. Car market really is on its rear. GLWTS
  15. Very similar to me with mine
  16. Yeah, dont worry about it then mate. As Rob said, high build is fine. The only time things need to be done different is when spraying bare metal, I found that one out the hard way lol. Remember to give it a little key before you start, to give the high build something to bite into.
  17. I would go with the bonnet option as its rare as hell. I would rather have both though. Just fyi, you are missing the strut spreader washer things from your bay. I wouldnt leave those out as they act like spreader plates and the strut mount is very thin on its own.

It's "does" bud. The guys are usually on the ball. Be patient, you wont be ripped off.
  19. Whats with all the metal discussion? Is it not for plastic and fibreglass? High build should be fine directly onto both I would have thought?
  20. That's not so bad then. The loctite stuff should do the job nicely! I was worried that it had some special properties or something-or-other lol. Cheers John
  21. On another note, is there any reason I can't use this stuff... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LOCTITE-INSTANT-GASKET-FLANGE-SEALANT-/180717503916?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item2a139a45ac
