  1. Could always "facelift" the glass one's. That's what I've done with mine, close enough to facelift with none of the plastic to worry about
  2. Unfortunately I get the impression that this is typical of most places nowadays. A lot of garages won't fork out for the specialised tuners/mechanics. Every single one around my way, specialised tuners or not, has the same element of employee in their midst. I never let any of my cars out of my sight and often try to get the owner or someone who I can see knows what they are doing to work on the cars. Only 2 places I go now and one of them the guy works from home in his garage. He takes full ownership of all his work.
  3. Do we have anyone that makes/supplies these? No idea what to search for to be honest so I've had no luck digging around. Looking to buy a couple of the corner covers to cover over the brake reservoir/charcoal canister area. Thanks
  4. The panel should just unscrew from the airbag allowing you to swap it over?
  5. Remember that the value of the 6spd won't drop. I know it seems like a lot of money to spend but you could easily get your money back the next day. I seriously doubt any other install would be similar.
  6. It only did 27k miles in THAT car
  7. Pre-facelift 6spds and UKs have the big diffs. Auto's and facelifts have the smaller diffs. The small diffs can be had for reasonable money and are reasonably easy to get Have you looked at fitting a 5spd?
  8. It is what it is unfortunately. Surely you have a diff already? If you want a "big" diff you'll need a lot more than 4.5k also. They sell for upwards of £1k now and are as rare as hens teeth. The prices are only going to go up due to the prices of the cars increasing and the rarity of the bits.
  9. £3800 is good for the conversion given the going rate. I'd want it to be guaranteed somewhat though.
  10. Loving it mate. We're only 2 episodes in, won't see any more till the weekend due to shifts, but I can see where it's going to lead. Very well pieced together style of documentry. Feels like a proper drama
  11. Ahh that's a shame. I didn't realise those diffs had smaller driveshafts as well.
  12. Horrendous failure. Didn't even manage 270, never mind 360

    Mini TV Review

Elementary season 4 is excellent, thoroughly enjoying it. Supergirl has gone down hill, mediocre at best but I'm still watching it. Started watching Sherlock with the Wife, just finished off the 3 seasons, looking forward to the 4th eventually coming out. Limitless has started to pick up a bit recently, getting more depth to it now. Making a murderer is the highlight for me just now, really gripping documentary about a guy being shafted by the justice system.
  14. Good flick that. Should be watched regardless of reason
  15. In that case just go for a drive in the ones that fit the bill and buy the one that suits French cars have always been comfortable to drive (read wallowey) which can be great for a daily runaround BTW, I'm surprised the deals are good as they're fixed to make a huge loss on selling new cars with good PCP deals. The resale value of them is going to be bottom dollar.
  16. Check out the country of origin first
  17. Just started watching this tonight after hearing so much about it. Just about to check out the 2nd episode but it's pretty clear what's happened and what is going to happen. Shocking that they are getting away with it (so far).
  18. Ford all the way IMO. I can't see past them value for money wise. We've had a Mondeo for a few years now and I would highly recommend the new ones. Focus, just as good and no worries with the warranty etc.
  19. This would complete the set lovely. I've sent Si a wee message to see if he would be interested. There would likely be a timescale and a group buy involved but if there weren't numbers in for this I would be surprised as this would be a fantastic modern day refreshment
