  1. I watched Star Trek Beyond last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm really loving the reboot of these movies, they've captured so much of the essence of the original movies that it actually feels like a continuation at times. You could pretty much write the script, it's action packed, cheesy, funny but most of all entertaining. I absolutely loved it I'll definitely be watching it again, along with the other 2. Nice to have all the lens flares gone too!

    Mini TV Review

I quite enjoyed Stranger Things. I watched it over 2 days which probably over-saturated me to it so I wasn't left wanting for a second season..... I loved the Spielberg nods though, very nostalgic watching it all.
  3. I thought the Jungle Book was excellent. Granted, no cars or boobs though. I watched ARQ the other day. If you really have nothing to do for 90 minutes then it'll pass the time, otherwise I wouldn't bother. It's just riddled with annoyances for me. The idea is decent but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.
  4. Just finished The Man who Knew Infinity. What a brilliant true story this is, it's a bit of a slow movie and takes a while to get going at times but it's definitely worthwhile IMO. Absolutely fantastic performances throughout the movie but Jeremy Irons was a real stand out for me. True story of Srinivasa Ramanujan, a pioneer in mathematics who's theory's are still being proven and worked on today.
  5. I liked the effects for the shark, and as you say Terry, but other than that I completely agree. The movie made no sense, sharks don't act that way...... especially great whites, they aren't interested in us at all. I read a few comments on IMDB and people were defending it by saying it was a monster movie and that it didn't need to make sense.... referencing Jaws etc. The thing is, people were ignorant when Jaws was created. Peter Benchley himself said that he didn't understand Great Whites at all and actually regretted portraying them in such a way. This movie had absolutely no excuse and the stupidity of all the characters was just beyond belief.
  6. I removed it entirely, it was in with a t-piece to the manifold along with the FPR. I removed the Tpiece and connected the FPR direct. Map sensor is directly into the intake and the boost solenoid is down next to the filter, under the tubby. I must admit, it's got me stumped. I'm going to double and triple check it's inside the cabin though.... just in case The car is running fantastic though so I'm not overly worried.
  7. This is whats confusing me though... its inside the cabin lol.
  8. I'll have my camera with me, it shoots decent video but no way of mounting it unfortunately... the battery slot is too small. Will have my phone too which is pretty decent.
  9. I'm getting a strange squealing noise when on boost. It sounds like it's inside the cabin which is really confusing me. At first I assumed it was the hose connecting the boost gauge but I've disconnected that at the engine and it's still doing it. The only thing I could think of was the brake servo somehow? Without further ado.... [video=youtube;C-Rv7U6-7nI] BTW the little screech at the end was my tyre scrubbing so not related.
  10. Chazza: Starter - Blue murder mushroom Main - TA Burger with chips Pudding - Cranachan 5L of your finest fermented white grape juice. Scott: Starter - Beer Main - TA Burger with cheese & bacon (no other toppings at all) with chips and a Beer Pudding - Chocolate Fudge Cake with Ice Cream and a beer.
  11. Did you ever get to the bottom of this? I have a feeling it's the little box on top of the stereo but I can't be sure. Mine is now presenting the same problem after recently fitting an oil pressure/temperature gauge. I have a feeling I've pulled on a harness somewhere.
  12. I hadn't spotted that mate, ideal that'll do for me nicely. I'd like chips if that's a possibility too though I'll speak to Chazza tomorrow to see what she fancies.
  13. Basically a kids menu lol. I don't eat anything fancy at all, it's just not my thing I like meat..... chips..... meat...... and chips
  14. Gutted about the BBQ, there's feck all on that menu I want
  15. Suspension felt great for the brief run I was in by the way. Totally forgot to mention it as I thought of it mid convo
  16. Hell no Although with your help it's a lot closer now haha.
  17. It's extremely difficult when you live in Scotland and the English court application doesn't apply. Especially when the person lives in Ireland and you don't have his address. The money isn't my issue with regards to the forums response though. It's been non-existent and just shows that there's no more protection here than there is buying off an anonymous facebook account. The consequences for his action haven't even resulted in as much as a PM to him (other than when I requested it, at which point it may have happened). I'm having to rely on people I know to try and use their influence but that's gone nowhere as well.
  18. There is none. To my knowledge no representative has spoken to him at all regarding it hence why I've stepped away from the forum. There is zero protection on here nowadays as no one cares anymore (at least from my perspective). I see a lot firmer action being taken on the FB page that people are warned to stay away from, it's a LOT safer than on here nowadays. I would rather see him banned as I wrote the money off 4 months ago. Our paths will cross one day though
  19. I'll be back doing what I do once this is sorted out.... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?332071-Enough-is-Enough-Suprageek-delayed-refund-since-Christmas Given the fact that the forum couldn't give a toss I doubt that'll be anytime soon though
  20. S7 Edge FTW, nothing at that level touches it IMO. That's what I'm going for next.
  21. Indeed, how much you after? They sound great but I'm not 100% sure what arms I have to be honest. I'll need to check. Also I wouldn't want to spend so much on hubs without the sensors as it's likely that I'll need to buy a set with the sensors attached anyway lol.
  22. As above really. Good condition rear hubs with/for ABS. All 4 ABS sensors (multiples or individuals) Rear driveshafts for big diff drivers side handbrake assy Cash waiting
  23. Why is that? Do people not strip them out? Happy to buy the rears with the hubs (as long as they are decent) but the fronts should be easy enough to come by I would have thought? They''re available overseas on eBay. I even wondered about wiring in another cars sensors, would they not be a fairly common fit with a different plug?
  24. As above, I've got a dodgy front one and I completely crushed my rear one. Will take singles or a full set though as spares will no doubt be handy
  25. Yeah I didn't fancy the 300 at all. My gearbox changes with my little finger with no 'notchyness' so I'd rather use ATF than try a thicker oil with potential wear issues down the road.
