  1. Yes a very good home indeedy. Went for more than advertised here too. They guy and his son are both retro toyota nuts and he owns a bodyshop. He showed me pics of his 2 nut and bolt almost restored ae86's, toyota 1000 and his sons mk1 starlet. His friend also races a 1600 twin cam corona :-)
  2. Left hand drive yank stuff ? http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3119749.htm A reliable Ferrari? http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/3033690.htm
  3. Thanks guys. Just so many scams about at the minute and just wanted to be sure.
  4. I'm selling a car advertised online and have a guy interested from london. He can't get down to view the car but wants to transfer half the money £600 ish and arrange someone to collect. He said the transfer will take a few hours and can sent it when i ask. The bank said he has no way of getting the money back out of my account but it all seems a bit odd to me and need a bit more advise. Thanks
  5. Nice looking car dude. Now go and bolt a nice turbo to it.
  6. Plus i have all the paperwork and service records, and receipts from when it was new. 2 previous owners. Spare diff casing and bits, spare steering wheels, rocker covers, about 3 carbs (not sure if they are the same as i have never taken them out of the bag to check plus other small bits and bobs Cost of insurance is £100 fully comp against the daily drive with limited mileage.
  7. Runs very well as all the running gear is in a1. Timing needs to be adjusted slightly (has new rotor arm and diz cap fitted ) but i have done adjustment on the rockers less than 50 miles ago Clutch release bearing is squeaking a little but nothing that would worry me for a good few 000k miles if at all The underside has been welded and is very solid. What let's it down is the outside. The guy who done it had no idea how to make rear arches and has used alot of filler thats started to crack, the drivers door needs adjusting or new pins as its dropped a bit. Over spray on window rubbers. The underside is way cleaner than outside. The underneath of the car is the same colour as the outside. Rust started to show at bottom of doors and some near the battery area (think its under the battery). Drives really well and the brakes are brilliant for a drum setup. Pulls slightly to the left since i've had it. I fitted a re-cored rad about 50 miles ago with new toyota coolant. Fuel gauge is quite vague. If i think of anything else i will add it but that's about as honest i can be.
  8. Needs bodywork work sorting correctly, but an imported TOYOPET jdm version went for £1700 on ebay the other day and this is a uk car. Just want someone to love it and get it 100% again
  9. Going in for mot next week and will be taxed aswel (tax exempt £0) Then going on ebay. £1000 no offers Come with various spares plus oil filter, rocker gasket plus a load of other bits i never got round to doing.
  10. I remember when that was posted on here before about 2 years ago i think. I think the price may have even gone up. Think it was in a couple of mags too.

  12. Cut into small pieces and post it to the dvla in the uk. Maybe 2 to 3 parts per year. Start with the number plates, vin numbers and work your way up.
  13. Jet fuel is not as flammable and petrol but i don't think i'd ever have big enough balls to have a fag on the go when filling a plane up.
  14. Get a cheap set of wheels and have them as a spare set for track/drag/drift days?
  15. £35 inc postage. No idea on how much it was new as i can't seem to find a model name or number on it. The lp inflator valve is leaking when i tested it the other day (o-ring but i will make sure it's fine before it's posted. I was going to keep it for pool training but it's just on the small side for me.
