Drove the Supra last night along the M2, and all of a sudden the Warning light comes on with the Engine Management light. It then they both turn off only to come back on again after 30secs. They did this 3 times then didnt come back on again....has this happened to anyone else before ??

He's definately back from his hols as I had my car in there 2 weeks ago and he was looking as brown...as me ;-) !! BTW He's a Top bloke...my car feels and acts much better after his magic !

Just drove the car today after a few days, but for some reason its driving weird - I'll try to explain the problems:- From a standing start, as soon as I press on the accelerator the idle revs DROP from 900-1000 rpm to less than 600rpm, the car slighty 'jerks' then sets off. The car seems to move up the gears smoothly. But sometimes it drops down the gears in a 'jerky' way, not the normal smooth transition, I have checked the gear oil and it seems fine. I have the car booked in with Phoenix next week for a service, but would appreciate if you guys could advise on what the problem could be. Cheers.

Me and the Mrs are looking to get away for Crimbo, as it will be our first long haul hol for about a year, so we gonna make it a gud 'un!!. We are looking at 4 possible destinations as in the title of this thread. 55 mins to cycle 13 miles into Angel.....my legs are not as strong as what they used to be !!

I am just replacing my aerial for one that works, so I strip down the panels and come to remove the one nut that holds the aerial in place. Lo and behold the bloody thing seems to be threadless, and it turns both ways easily but does not pull out. Anyone got any ideas on how to get the fecker out ????? Also, what is the black tube at the body of the aerial housing unit for ??? Many Thanks !

Thanks Lads :-). The Unit is currently on my desk - I had opened it but as the cogs were giving resistence I decided not to pull them out in case i botch it up. SBDJ have you tried your method yourself...should I apply some force to the cogs?

Just bought an aerial unit and the I only need the mast, but its fully retracted and not too sure if the motor works. If it does, then removing the mast will be easy...... ....But IF the motor does not work, whats the best way to remove a fully retracted mast ?? Cheers

Hi I just tried the diagnostic Paper clip trick and I'm getting Error Code 41...does anyone know how to fix this? Could this explain my erratic Odo behavior? Cheers

No worries. I have been searching for a pic on here of the diagnostic box to make the connection between the E1 and TE1 ......but could not spot one. Will be grateful if someone could ping me one across so I can check the ECU tomorrow for the correct error codes. Cheers !!

Thanks Fella's. BTW How much did the dealer charge for the diagnostics? If it is a dodgy connector/converter, is it an easy fix?
