  1. Lol fair enough Thanks, I just hope it's ready for RS!! Ideal
  2. If you own a TT, then like I mention in my previous post, they just need more maintenance and a few reliability mods are certainly needed for a stock FD, but if that doesn't phase you, it's one seriously fun car.. I love the Supra, but I never felt as safe at high speeds like I do in the FD's.. the handling is in another league and the drive is so different to the Sup, in a good way IMO. I know people who use an FD as a daily, I probably wouldn't tbh, but that's only cause of fuel costs And it's often the owners fault when the engine blows, not the cars..
  3. Didn't notice any difference between my last FD and my GZ BPU TT to be honest, and more went wrong with my RZ Supe than my FD... If you're talking about fuel, the twin FD does like 15- 20mpg, not far off the Supra tbh. You just need to give them a little more maintenance, i.e make sure the oil, fuel filter, spark plugs erc are changed on time. Why buy OEM when you can buy uprated parts, and after market mods go for HALF the price on the Rotary forums than they do on here.... Example.. Blitz Nur Specs usually for for around £100 on MRC/FDUK, on here it's double ++ I'm sure there isn't much difference between OEM Mazda and Toyota!
  4. Is it? I couldn't see it?! I thought that original Burnout RX7 lived in Aus! Bought them from a member on the FDUK forum, they came off a Burnout kitted rx
  5. Lol! Mine will look the same minus the sunroof Thank you Ed Yeah car was a bargain... you do not want to know what my bill is so far though...... They are very reliable, bad rebuilds have given them a bad name, not every so called specialist does a decent job unfortunately... How could you not love the looks Thanks Dave Wheels are nice, pretty rare, and they were pretty much made for the rx7 and this kit lol.
  6. No I would never have the bumper blended in to the arches, the whole kit can be removed in pieces I'll be on the MRC/FDUK stand if its done...!! I know! I did tell him haha, I think he was just glad to be rid of it tbh as he hadn't driven it for 6 months cause of it lol Indeed I can't believe it's supposed to be finished Friday.. It's being worked on from 6am - 9pm !! Just been text this pic, rear arches getting done right now!!
  7. After selling the GZ TT Aero earlier this year, I have been seriously bored with driving a Saxo VTR... But I couldn't afford another Supra quite yet... So I spotted a cheap RX7 on a forum which was a non runner, no MOT etc.. but it had some decent parts I could sell on and I had a feeling it would be a simple fix after speaking with the owner who didn't seem to have a clue about RX7's... Headed over to Southampton, loaded it up on the trailer and handed the guy a little over 2k and dropped it to Super 7 Auto's in Henfield to find out what was wrong with it! After a while of trying to start it, checking the basics... we found the problem... a fuse... Engine has good compression, rebuilt by well known specialists 15,000kms ago.. so now that I had a decent car with parts to sell.. I found I had a bit of spare change left over to buy some new parts with Here it the car when I first bought it... So far this it's what has been done.. Took off the old exhaust and put on an HKS Hi-Power Exhaust and De-cat pipe which sounds a fair bit better (and louder) Unfortunately I didn't realise fitting a decat meant the engine had to come out so the wastegate could be made bigger or something..!! Also sold the rare Mazda Speed seats and bought some stock black leather seats. Ditch the RE-Amemiya front and Spoiler and start to put on the Burnout Kit - Yes it's a replica and was an extremely bad fit, so the garage spent about a week and a half just making it fit, then making sure it lined up... This is when it finally went on but as you can see it still needed a LOT of work to look decent.. Got rid of the RE-AM wheels and put some WEDS Bulivin T8's on... Silk Road adjustable Coilovers going on today as you can see the car is pretty high on the stock suspension!! Still to go this week to make Rotorstock in time.. a full respray in black, rear wide arches to be fitted then rolled and flared... Anyway it will end up looking like this by Friday
  8. So angry my car wasn't ready in time for me to make this At least I'll make it to the Pod this weekend for RS7 though... Looks like a good day, maybe I'll make it next year
  9. The Storm Force cover is certainly worth the money.
  10. Hey Florian What's wrong with the GZ Aero you got then Should've bought my black Aero when I had it for sale! I wouldn't buy this one anyway, it's silver
  11. Facelift TT6 speed with very low miles for 9k! This shouldn't hang around... Although if it does, I may have to buy it
  12. Fat Supra! My RX7 weighs around 1250kg
  13. My Shazam was free and I get unlimited songs
  14. It will work when you play a song, but I don't think there is such an app that recognises a whistle/hum
  15. Lol I see last years birthday thread got revived thanks
  16. Lol, how about an app that tells you if a girl is going to be interested or not, take a pic of her and it could come up with 'avoid!' or 'you're in!' no more rejected blokes, everyones a winner
  17. I still owe 3k from various things I've bought for my Supra's and RX7 over the last couple years, it's not too bad though as it's 0% interest family loan
  18. Really? I've seen nicer N/A's go for £1800. It's been in an accident for a start.. I'd suggest at least getting the Speedo fixed cause it's just giving buyers reasons to knock you down loads anyway. Good luck with the sale.
  19. I do want another GZ aero yes, but I was going to get a fresh import and in black.. at the moment I have an rx7 anyway... If this is still around in about a month then I'd be in the position to look at it.
  20. It's fairly quiet for a rotary actually. I'm going down to Super 7 where the car is this week, I'll try and get a picture, but like I said it needs a good clean up.
