Hi Guys Further to my caliper thread i was unable to get a set of discs at the time of my recent service. Can any of the traders give me a price on a full set of standard spec discs with front pads? No sound when moving the steering at all Nic It's hard to say if its from the engine bay or under the drivers seat in the cabin. It's very hard to pin point and i've ran out of ideas on things to check

If i could get a run down Marty i'd take it down to you but i'm flat out at uni here in Coleraine this week It only seems to become loud enough past 2500rpm and by 4500rpm you cant hear it because of the exhaust so not sure how far its going up the rev range

From the car johnny The best way i can describe it is a really high pitched whine sound,something a kin to a supercharger whine but no where near as audible

Hi Guys I got into the car yesterday evening and noticed a very fine high pitched whine when revs are applied, not just whilst in motion but also when stationary It's only audible whilst in the car and really confusing the hell out of me. I put a cat back on last weekend and new induction kit and that's all that is on the car and can't see how either would be causing the noise I first thought gearbox related but not so sure It's a 94 NA Auto Has anyone experienced this before? Any advise would be greatly appreciated guys Herbie

main reason steve is i got the auto very very cheap and its in fantastic condition i had a breaker contact me with everything i need parts wise for 400 quid and was wondering how much the fitting then would cost
