  1. Now sold. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=126778
  2. Hehe cheers Chris. Of course you're right! The money has all gone towards my S2 Elise, and I know I've done the right thing. I will seriously miss the power and the comfort though.
  3. I'm feeling totally numb right now. I've just seen my lovely Supra drive away with its new owner. I'm probably really lucky. Both my Elise and Supra sold in 3 and 6 days respectively, and were both bought by the first people to see them. But I'm going to feel pretty gutted when it hits home I don't have a Supra on my driveway for the first time in over 5 years. The new owner is upgrading from his Mk3 Supra, so he felt at home in it straightaway. He was 25 stone(!) but fitted in fine. Rest assured I won't be leaving the forum even though I've left the Supra behind (sorry ). The Supra is absolutely a part of me and I may buy another one day. I'm going to cry now...
  4. There's already been a Street Fighter movie (featuring Kylie Minogue!) so the next one will have to be called "Street Fighter 2"
  5. Thanks all for the comments. The first person to look at the car bought it, after just 3 days on sale. It was very sad to see it drive away

    £17000???

Wow. That looks incredible. Pardon my ignorance, but can that model actually be imported into the UK?
  7. You can only reasonably be expected to declare mods you are aware of...and how are we meant to know whether or not the car is limited to 112mph when the highest speed limit in this country is 70mph?
  8. Cheers Gav for the info. I think I'll have to stick to MCE2005 for now. My extender is an original XBox, and there's no point forking out for a 360 just so I can use Vista. I've been using the same installation for two years! It's getting a bit slower now, but it's set up perfectly so I don't like messing with it. I watch all my TV through it, so it's a major hassle to reinstall. I use CoreAVC for H.264 and it can even play MBAFF from BBC HD which is very CPU intensive. I had to seriously overclock my Pentium M to get it working smoothly though!
  9. What new features does Vista Media Centre give over MCE2005? I'd like to upgrade my HTPC to Vista, but I'd lose support for my XBox media extender, so I wouldn't be able to watch telly upstairs
  10. We use it all the time at work... ...mind you, we write ECU software so maybe it doesn't count
  11. I think there might some environmental laws about when you can set off fireworks. Haven't looked into it. 4:15am is blatently taking the piss though. I'd be tempted to get out the hosepipe

  16. It's the same adapter for UK and Jap models. Also, for future reference, you don't need to disconnect the battery when fitting a headunit. The only thing to be aware of is you need to plug back in the top strip containing the odo (there's three connectors I think) before turning on the ignition. If you don't, the airlight light will illuminate. By doing this, you can test the headunit without having to put back all the rest of the dash.
  17. I once managed to complete a journey in traffic without making +ve boost Confirmed on my boost controller afterwards. It was only a mile though.
  18. I replaced my aftermarket alloys with standard alloys and bought these wheel nuts: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230150474079 They are flat seated, whereas the ones for my previous alloys had to be conical.
  19. This is cruel and unfunny and I wouldn't dream of laughing... http://www.killsometime.com/video/video.asp?ID=870
  20. I have HIDs for dipped beam, but I couldn't really see the point of having them for main beam too. The main beam is plenty bright enough to see a long way into the distance, so I'm not sure what benefit there is?
  21. Well that one is blatently bollocks, so what chance is there of the other ones being true?
  22. I rewound it too when I saw that junction. Maybe it was edited badly and VBH was referring to a different junction? Certainly wouldn't be safe to take a blind crossroads at 100mph on a red light, even with sirens on!
