  1. I had my Supra for five years and sold it about 3 years ago. Since then, I've had a Lotus Elise, an Impreza Turbo and now I have a Porsche 996 Carrera 2. Life's too short not to try other cars, but the Supra was one of the best cars I've owned (and the fastest!)
  2. Good point. Although I didn't actually say find out the wattage by reading the label
  3. Find out the wattage of the dehumidifier and find out from your electricity bill how much you pay per kWhour. If it uses 1000W and you run it for 6 hours, then it's used 6 kWhours.

At least you can console yourself with that freshly opened bottle of wine

So, what do I win? (and don't say a cork and a bucket )

I think the cork will stay where it is as there's no longer a force acting upwards on it. It's the same as if there was a big tank of water in space and you put a cork in the middle of it. The cork wouldn't go in any particular direction. Am i right?
  7. Hope he's okay... http://alancostello.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/a_lgolfcart_0630.jpg
  8. At least you'd be able to pull off enough tat from it to recoup some of your money.
  9. Ouch! That's one reason why you should avoid crossing your arms while steering. You also risk breaking your arm if the airbag goes off.
  10. Yes, that's the correct resolution and matches what I've seen on other TVs. I expect the video card resolution has to be a multiple of 4 or 16 or something. The TV is likely to support 60Hz. You don't need to spend so much on an HDMI cable (unless it's very very long), as it won't improve the picture.
  11. Just go outside at dusk and look vertically upwards. You'll see it hovering above the earth. If you get your binoculars out you may see the cosmonauts though one of the windows.
  12. I saw it a couple of days ago when I looked out of the window - wasn't even looking for it! (and it definitely wasn't a plane. i checked heaven's above). It seems to be going over several times per day at the moment. I think it might be brighter too as they've stuck more crap onto it
  13. They look amazing. I'd like to get my wheels done in satin black.
  14. It looks exactly the same apart from it's been in an accident.

    Ebay dispute

What's the dispute? The seller has agreed to refund after receiving the item back. Sounds reasonable to me.

    Ebay dispute

In that situation, PayPal would probably repay you. But you have to remember to send it back recorded delivery, as PayPal needs to see the signature.
  17. In my last year of Supra ownership, I bought an S1 Elise as a fun weekend car. Sorry to say but I hardly ever drove the Supra after that (except on long journeys and to the supermarket!) My S1 had a couple of grand spent on the engine to bring it to 160bhp and it was an amazing car to drive. It broke down about 4 times in the time I had it and it was the most unreliable, badly-built car I've owned. It was totally worth it though I sold my Supra and the S1 to fund my S2 111S. Again, it's magical to drive - well balanced and really responsive. Mine is the last one with the Rover K-series engine and it's had head gasket failure amongst its many expensive bills. It's much easier to live with than the S1 as an everyday car though - which it what mine is. The elise isn't for everyone. If you drive it hard (as intended!) and don't mind the cost, unreliability and impracticality then go for it! my S1 and S2... http://www.13amp.org/misc/history_s1elise.jpg http://www.13amp.org/misc/history_s2elise.jpg
  18. If I was me (which I am) then I would have given it back. If I was an Argentinian taxi driver (which I'm not) then I'm not so sure. Probably would depend on whether they'd given me a tip
  19. What's even more impressive is that he's actually Ken Block's cousin.
  20. I'm not sure the third party would be invalidated, so they'd probably still cover the wall
  21. Yes, but it's called a TMIC.
  22. That was easy. I just searched japanese google http://supra.gr.jp/
  23. He's had a surprising number of previous accidents... http://img2.photographersdirect.com/img/12366/wm/pd1547980.jpg http://www.humour.com/affiche/images/accidentF1.jpg
