  1. It does say it's a TT Bad paint work will limit your selling potential, if it's an Auto you are probably going to struggle to get much over 5k with poor paint, good paint and history, could get you upto 7k (if you are patient and lucky), but old paint can be very hard to match, especially Silver and by your description, it's very unlikely a spray shop will get a decent match just doing a roof and bonnet I personally wouldn't spend that much on paint to sell a TT Auto, if a 6-speed it's possibly worth spending some money on, but by your estimates I am guessing it's an Auto I am also assuming it is an Import not a UK Spec Supra
  2. Is it wrong to start checking the shop already, just in case:spank:
  3. I am home from work a bit early for some reason lol Just got to wait until 6:15 now:smartass:
  4. Well I did not really have anything to do today and no Supra to play with, so finally got to polishing an Intake, hopefully get this finished tomorrow and then just the throttle body to do
  5. I want them many to straighten the bonnet when left up at shows, did consider a 2nd bonnet stand bit, but think it will look a bit naff I am happy to still use the one for safety Al were yours okay when closing the bonnet, heard they can nee a far bit of force, which is a worry on a Carbon Bonnet Do you want to sell yours Al
  6. I am on the look out for a bonnet lifter kit for my Jun Carbon Bonnet Happy to buy new, just wanted to know from anyone that has bought one and feedback on it Links to the ones you recommend
  7. Welcome to the Club No one else has said this yet from my quick scan through You said you are looking at an N/A for a daily, fuel wise you will find the TT actually uses about the same unless driving a WOT everywhere and Insurance is similar to I was in 2 minds when getting my Supra and considered a GTO, test drove both back to back, the Supra I a much better car
  8. Mate, I am not marrying you, how many more times:taped:
  9. That's already been asked and apparently 7.5% is the expected loss, so it's about right In all honesty I am not up on this sort of thing, so rely on others for the info
  10. Thanks Yeah still on the J-Specs, but guessing they are totally maxxed out, AFR's were monitored during the runs and were good
  11. Varnish, now there is a cheaper alternative;) They are under strict instructions for it to be finished before the end of March, as I have a few Engine bay bits to do before Dragonball No never, don't tell Jen though;) Thanks and don't worry, although it won't be a stock colour, it's going to look awesome (I hope:nyah:)
  12. I just noticed I have got to the 100 Feedback threshold and still 100% too, guess I am not living up to my Forum name:innocent: Dread to think how much money I have spent through this Forum, but hopefully I have saved a lot as well:)
  13. Thanks for the flawless comment Abz, the colour change has always been in the background, but I didn't just want a cheap paint, I wanted something a bit special Jared at Dip Demons did try to convince me to do the spokes on my Volks in Wood Dip for a while The bonnet is back on because I feel it's the best option with the new paint and Jared is making me some drip trays I don't think there will be any pics of the paint until March and it's never truly finished lmao I am taking a bit of a gamble on the paint and the paint colour if I am honest. Again it will be a bit love or hate it, but it should be a bit special and hopefully a show stopper
  14. I like to think experiMENTAL rather than just MENTAL lol
  15. I need one of these, but they are in 18mm or 20mm, guess 18mm is the better option
  16. Fair enough, but you can't post in the Classifieds or a few other areas and you have a very limited amount of posts as a non member If you definitely in the market for a Supra, this forum will save you a fortune in parts, the knowledge and info available is 2nd to non in the Supra community I must of saved more than I paid for my Supra by now lol
  17. This is the membership info page, to save you hunting for it http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?82442-Club-Membership-Details-Including-Trader-amp-Hobbyist-Membership-Rules
  18. You need to Pay your Membership......£10 for a year or the better option is the lifetime membership, it will pay you back in know time
  19. Welcome back, couple things on the Supra on Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171579006624?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D171579006624%26_rdc%3D1 It says uprated brakes, ask the seller what he means, as they are the stock J-Specs in the pics Personally I am not a fan of the side skirts, if you are thinking the same, they are not going to be easy to remove, as they are fully blended
  20. This improve the external look so much, well worth the effort
  21. Contact little num here on the forum, he has done the conversion a few times http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/member.php?15118-little-num
