  1. Don't worry Kaan, it was a Black and White photo The polishing is very time consuming, the throttle body is very fiddly and to be honest it's not the best bit of polishing I have done, but I now have one eye on the calendar, so trying to use my time wisely Still have to do part of an Intercooler Pipe all 4 wheel barrels and put the wheels back together top coolant pipe Cam covers possibly may have to do another powersteering reservoir, as this one seems to be stained, but that may have to wait now also have to put the whole engine bay back together and the all the interior trims replace 2 wheel studs put my Uk rear brake calipers on Do another Oil change There are also a few other bits I want to do, but think time will not allow for the moment
  2. Sorry one of my photobucket accounts has run out of bandwidth, so the pics that have disappeared will return in a few days on the 11th I think Pics back
  3. Not long to go now hopefully, should be first week of April if we don't run into any issues putting it back together How is yours coming together Kev Done a bit more polishing The pile of polished bits to go back on is getting bigger
  4. Thanks Rob, LeeP Pm'ed me last night, should be fine on a manual, apparently it's the Auto's that have issues Saves me having to polish another one, they are a pain to do
  5. Gearbox will be my next big spend, not sure which way to go really, don't really want to go Auto, but it makes financial sense There just doesn't seem to be a sensibly priced option for a manual BPU Supra anymore
  6. Right as a lot of you know I am polishing parts for my engine bay I have just noticed that the Throttle body I am polishing and nearly finished has had a Traction Control delete done The one on my Supra has not I have never had traction control to my knowledge, it started life as an N/A and I doubt Whifbitz would of put it in during the TT conversion Am I okay to just put the Throttle Body with the delete on the car or am I going to have issues I know I could just try it and see, but I don't have the time to polish another throttle body if this one is not working at the point of putting it back together and it's a lot of work wasted Original Throttle Body One I am polishing with the delete I have done a bit of searching and can't find anything helpful at all
  7. Colour is really difficult and very personal I am liking the Renault Metallic Red on a lot of new Clio's at the minute, think it maybe called Flame Red, it has an Orange tint where the sun hits it If it is a show colour you are after, it needs to stand out
  8. Hi Dan, will be interesting to see how this comes out this time Not sure about the shape at the minute, think it would help if you could get a bit of curve from the shoulder when looking from behind, it looks a bit straight from shoulder to the edge of the arch It's good to see something different being tried
  9. With the Supra being over 20 years old, it is getting more difficult to make your own individual Supra You also get the factor that you build something as a one off and 6 months later someone has built something very similar as they like yours I have now seen 2 Supra's very similar to mine, one in the US is pretty much a direct copy, except they didn't quite get a couple of my custom parts quite the same, but it is close enough The problem is individuality, I think it is the limited to what can be sensibly done within usability and taste I think it is also a cost thing, buying parts and sticking them onto your car, is relatively cheap compared to custom parts or even extensive modification of existing parts The only true way to have a one off car is to build from the ground up and use totally custom parts, but once people see it, if they like it or parts of it, that stays in there mind when they build there own. I guess it is sometimes just an influence rather than a total copy Individuality is costly and very difficult without some influence from somewhere. My build I just tried to use the stock curves and enhance the stock shape, but make it more aggressive, while making it a one off by combining off the shelf parts in a way no one had done before, as well as a fair bit of custom modification
  10. Starting to think i should of done it metalic black after all lol Maybe i will have to only show all future pics in Black and White from now on
  11. I am not enjoying this count down with the state of my Supra still
  12. Might have a proper update next weekend, but may not be fully back together until the end of the month, as I only get about 4 hours on a Saturday to put it back together Hoping to get a good chunk of the Engine Bay back together next Saturday - - - Updated - - - Or a Black and White photo
  13. Yeah I think I could of bought 2 TT6 by now lol I have the same exhaust and mine has no baffling either, but sounds great on a TT
  14. Looking good Jake, liking the twin Battery terminal covers, that's something I still need to sort on mine I pointed Rob your way, sorry to empty your wallet a bit more lol, I knew you would not be able to resist it;)
  15. This is the guide I followed http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?35632-Rear-light-conversion&highlight=clear+lens+conversion My thread from back in the day http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?152996-Rear-indicator-conversion-done The indicator lenses (pre facelift) are the same size as the reversing ones, so you just need to get hold of another set
