  1. Jad has been really good with all the pics he has taken to make sure nothing of mine is in anybody's pics My front bumper is in the booth with the wheels when he took those photos
  2. It took me ages to find a colour that worked with the body colour and that I liked I didn't want anything to bright that would take anything away from the main bodywork, but I also didn't want something that would disappear In all honesty the pics of the car or the wheels just doesn't do this new finish any justice at all, if I get time tomorrow I will get a little walk around Video (only the wheels though lol)
  3. I know, but we are nearly there That's why your wheels are on there and not mine Well I thought I would treat you all to some pics of the wheel colour, in the Sun they will go a bit more Copper and Gold So here's a few pics I got today
  4. I bought this for Jen on Valentines this year Still have not got one for the Supra, but I will eventually
  5. I just need to get it home now, so I can do the bits I want to sort before Dragonball, hopefully have it on the drive a week Saturday I wasn't going to bother putting up anymore Black and White pics, but Jad has finished the flattening today, apparently it is mega shiny He has also painted the wheel centres today, they were stripped to bare metal first, I have not seen them yet as he forgot to take any pics
  6. Mate, I so want it finished, I can see Dragonball just over the horizon and yet again my Supra is in bits
  7. Sorry Kaan I have been ill, so have not been able to get much done, hence being a bit behind I finally decided on the wheel colour 2 weekends ago, so we have been waiting for the wheel paint to arrive, it arrived today, so they will be painted tomorrow I will collect them Saturday and then put them back together at home and return them the following Saturday, so that should be when I can get some photo's sorted The Supra is pretty much finished, I just need to bleed the brakes and put the Interior Trim Panels back in and give everything a good clean (to my standard, not bodyshop standard )
  8. Another bump for this Going to be sending out a PM to all of the above for some money next weekend folks
  9. Just so you know, the plastic dip is going to be a nightmare to remove if applied to either base coat or primer You will need to sand of most of it and it clogs sand paper I know someone that bought a Civic like this recently and it took a bodyshop nearly 2 weeks labour to do just the main flat panels, at which point the owner decided it was cheaper to scrap the car
  10. What about 3,4,5,6,7 times I have just Pm'ed you regarding my Supra Pic, you could be the first one in the club to see the new colour
  11. Sorry I know it's going on and on a bit, but I don't want to show it until I can show the complete effect. Hopefully it will be worth the wait I can't wait to get the finished pics out there, absolutely love the finish we have got with this new stuff No Flake at all, this is a new type of finish, the only colour used is a black base, then a colorless magic dust/powder is mixed into lacquer. The dust is lots of microscopic prisms, so they distort the light to create the colour. The colour is different depending on the shape of the prism used It generates a very deep rich colour with lots of depth, there are 9 layers to get this finish The pics I have been posting are not quite true Black and White, Hue and Saturation is changed also
  12. Not much of an Update this week really Decided on the wheel colour at last, so they should be done for next weekend with any luck, then I just need to get them back together and fit them Black and White pic, but I realise they are probably getting a bit boring now, should be finished soon, then full colour ones
  13. Had this with one of my Beemer alloys recently on a Sunday, so had no choice but Kwik Fit They said it would need a refurb On Monday took it in to my normal small independent tyre place and he took the tyre off, wire brushed it and put the tyre back on for a £10 note, been fine since Local independents are much better than the nationals, they only want the big paying work
  14. To much work to keep clean, I did consider it, but not for long lol I think I have decided on the colour, but Jad isn't sure it is going to work against the car colour, so he is planning to make a few speed shapes of a variety of possible colours
  15. My to do list pre Dragonball is still way to long and there are a couple of other things I would like to try and do also
  16. Getting very close now, really need to decide on a wheel colour, it's the only thing holding it up now, other than me getting the last few things back together They shouldn't need to be Black and White for much longer now:taped:
  17. Engine Bay is pretty much complete now Loving the flushed in rear spats, they are flush to the rear bumper now instead of the extra thickness the stuck on bit normally generates Still needs a little more flattening with 3000 grit, but that won't be done until just before the Quartz is done It is like a mirror already though, o and the boot isn't shut properly
  18. A colour pic at last Looks like Woody will be back again this season
  19. A lot of us are staying in the Premier Inn this year Ellis I know some have booked the Travelodge, not sure of the amounts though
  20. Ordered our Personalised ones now as well If you see this Rob, in the header on the Club page, it shows the personalised bit on the back as well, but I could find this option to purchase, is it something that can be done still
  21. Few more pics have come through, still black and white, but it's now got the glass back in and the flattening is well on the way Looking shiny Starting to get impatient now, really want the Supra home
  22. Looks great, been trying to get Si (Heckler) to look into build me some too
