  1. Cheshire ain't that far from Shropshire
  2. So did you manage to find a local garage to do the work, I would like to know the out come of your letter, that you write to Toyota Head Office. The only Toyota Dealership Group that is owned directly by Toyota and not a franchisee is Jemca. Could be worth doing a google search and seeing if there is one locally to you. I do know Jemca, is owned directly by Toyota UK. The level of service is much better than any Toyota franchise dealer, they literally bend over backwards for you. Its also worth pointing out in the letter, at a hello of a lot of manufacturers are let down by shabby service from franchisee dealer networks. Its funny when you go to a motor show and go onto any stand, the manufacturer is bending over backwards to get you attention, but when at the dealer its some times a completely different story. Mercedes Benz, Peugeot & Fiat Spring to Mind.....so very heated experiences!!
  3. Try Chris Wilson, I think he in your neck of the wood.
  4. Shame about the weather mate, would have been a very good meet, good choice not to take the smart, with all those light plastic panels, it may have floated away!!

Hope to the world's fastest and most powerful street-legal Toyota Supras. http://t04r.com/
  6. It wont hurt to compare quotes, I would get a quote from GVN, for the work your gonna do, just for future reference. I cant image they will be a hell of allot more expensive than you've been quoted. Let us know what you get quoted.
  7. to bring the rest of the car up to the same standard, I would recommend a mop (Any bodyshop or valeter can do this). A good compound like G3 and good polish, that normally does the trick. As mentioned above silver is an extremely tough cookie to crumble. Did your painter blend the paint into a couple of panels?
  8. Ok JamieP, I was wrong to include you as an example, well here is an example of a satisfied customer.
  9. To be fair Jake, I've seen GVNs work and they are 2nd to none. They do work on SLR etc. Again you get what you pay for if you want a £1500 respray or a £4000 respray its up to you. But going back to the original question, about this lad who wanted his front bumper painting, I would def recommend GVN. I know Kinght Racer quoted me £180 for the bumper, I cant see GVN being too far off as I know Mass is getting his back bumper, front bumper and a few other bits done for £400.
  10. JamieP, had a full respray a few months back and a week later the paint started to melt and run or look all funny. So it went back in for another full respray. Supro, he got a rear trial-rear bumper painted, they did not secure it properly, supposed to be 4 clips and they only used 2, so on the motor way, it exploded and ripped it self off the car. The rear bumper as u can imagine was unsalvageable at that speed. He took it back to them and they did not wanna know! To put it blunt they told him to F**K OFF!! Bensan, who I did the LeMans run a few months back, the car was in for the roof and a few other bits, like a wing and sideskirts. The lacker they used was soooooooooooooooo thin that you could, blatantly see the over spray, as it was not blended properly and feel the unevenness in smoothness in the paint. They in my opinion fobbed him off by telling him, that T-Cut would sort it out! Which I very much doubt as its to do with the thickness of the lacker. I own a car dealership in London, and if my painter did jobs like the ones above, he'll be dismissed on the spot!!!
  11. I'm up for this BBQ, count me in, sadly no supra only an Oster Card!! lol
  12. Re a good bodyshop or should I say the best bodyshop, is with out doubt GVN, don't wast your money on Knight Racer. I've not heard a single good word about work they have done. Don't wanna name names, but recently 2 full respray jobs on two separate supras did not come out too well. Also a mates trial bumper was painted back in Feb, and it exploded on him coz it was not securely fasten, they did not do the admirable thing and admit liability, so he had no choice but to get it done again, else where at his own expense. It was only yesterday I was inspecting another mates Supra, who had work done a few weeks back, and he ain't happy at all!!!! U have been warned!!
  13. Only Mark at Phoenix has ever looked after my motor since owning it since March this year and after 5k miles the car has not missed a beat. The car is booked in to get a new set of turbos fitted on Monday. I have thought long and hard about which garage to choose and Pheonix was my 1st choice. The only down side is that Mark is soooooooo booked up that you could be waiting till mid - end of Sep. But def worth the wait. My Turbos went, beginning of July and I've been patiently waiting for my turn.
  14. As you stated you had alot of problems with your installation. Who done it for you? Also were they all rectified?
  15. Hey mate just wondered how much bhp are you pushing from your hybrids at 1.4 bar?
  16. Cheers Michel, have they been flow tested and do they come with a resistor pack? Oi hand off, joint the queue My current project is a set of hybrid turbos, looking to achieve 450 bhp, reliably. Cheers mate
  17. Hey Im after a set of 550 injectors for my new turbo project.
  18. Noooooooooooooooooooooo! I can vouch, Supros car is a very nice motor, very clean and its a steal for only £8,499. A very quick BPU car!!
  19. It costs me £50 to fill my tank, so roughly 50 liters, coz £1 = 1 liter. I usually get back 250-300 miles, which ain't bad for a 400 bhp car.
  20. Welcome to the club Supra-Woman, nice upgrade, but it was all going soo well reading through your original post, until I scrolled down and saw a chav like escort! Please tell me your not a Supra Chav in Drag!! Then that would be awful!!
  21. Unbelievable!!! Thats the last time I let P11DDY loose in my house with a camera. I can't believe you even posted one of me with the dicky bow!! Mas, wheres those pics u got, of when you walked in and caught Michael (P11DDY), masturbating in my bros bedroom....time for pay back!!!
