  1. Matt, absolutely gutted for you mate!! But as the chaps said, it’s only a piece of metal, at the end of the day, which can be replaced! Your LIFE, on the other hand, can not!! FingersX the Police have a good lead, keep positive and chasing up that lead :-) Regarding your car, best thing I would recommend is to put a car cover over it, seeing it in that state on your drive, very day, will only make you more sick and upset!! I remember when I had a shunt with an MX5 outside Ace a year back, you go over it again and again in your head, but the whole event happened so fast, that even lighting reactions could not of saved you. This is the painful reality, Guys its winter, the roads are wet and slippery, please take care out there.
  2. RIGHT THEN, this for sale thread has gone rather quiet, just to let you know the car is still very much on the market for sale. I'm expecting the car to be back with me, from Michel Lane, who has been doing the valve stem oil seal, MOT, Full Service. The car will be available for viewing in London in the next two weeks, please PM me for more info. Cheers W
  3. Shane, congrats on the new purchase, I know you've been looking for a while, so well done fella. I was speaking with Lui about arranging a London Run before Xmas, it'll be nice to see your new motor at that meet.
  4. Mate I remember your face when you saw it at Dragonball earlier this year, you was drooling all over it! WOT AM I DOING!!! Mate yeeer I totally love the beast, after seeing ur posh pad in Putney, made think I need a pad of my own! I had soooooooo much fun in the Gauge with her, its unreal that I'll even think of selling her! Sorry mate, just to clarify, wot I ment, the turbos came off Michel Lanes car, so used set of turbos, previously they have never boosed past 0.8 bar. His Aristro engine was completely stock, still had the jap speedo restrictor on etc. So when I put them on mine, the condition of the turbos was like new, since installing them I have the AEM Boost Controller set to 1.1 & 1.2 bar. I also have a 3 inch restrictor ring, to avoid over boosting on cold mornings. Both the Turbos and engine, is always given 15-20 mins to warm up (to the anger of my beloved neighbours), before I drive her in the morning, and given a 5-10 mins to cool down before I park her up. The turbos are mostly driven at 1.1 bar as thats enough power for me! Only done 1,800 miles max wit the new turbos on, so who ever buys it is got onle hell of a set of J-Spec turbos, as its not been ragged, and as good as new, so good enough for another 60k miles
  5. Volksapart is an excellent car breakers, 0208 309 6200
  6. to give you guys an update, the car is up at Michel Lane, getting the Valve Stem Oil Seals done and a full Service. Also the bodywork and alloys will be done as mentioned in the sales thread. I hoping it'll be ready for viewing in a week or so. If your interested please PM me.
  7. Sounds like a good idea, one last blast before the end of the year? What kind of roads have you got in mind? A Roads, B Roads? I would prefer a blast to the Isle of Man, no speed limits on some parts, but the weather this time of year will make the roads greasy and wet. :-(
  8. Horrid! A Car like that gives the Supra a bad image! Gonna send TopGear a few pics of mine, and show them how a real Supra should look!
  9. If you can build them like that, I'd have the DTM AMG http://microcars.turboblog.fr/index.php?blog=7615&page=1&paged=2
  10. Not sure I like this one though, I love the though of pushing the boundaries of whats possible. But this I think is too far! Dont get me wrong I love print designs on a car, but all in good taste.
  11. thanks guys, will try them
  12. Chaps, does any one know where I can get a TRD Rear Spoiler, after one with the carbon fibre centre and side panels. I need one ASAP. Spoke to Nic and he cant get me one for 3-4 weeks. Thanks Wayne
  13. Lui mate I'm up for that, any excuse for a piss up. Can you add me for inside parking. Cheers mate. P.S. will you be laying on some entertainment for the evening?
  14. Nice bit of kit, love the red bucket seats. I but your well chuffed.
  15. Mate, thats one seriously good looking bit of kit, have u had any sprited drives in it? Whats it like off the line being 4 wheel drive? But the grip in corners must be immence? Any plans to take it rallying next season? LOL
  16. Brilliant! Had me in stitches!
  17. Hogmaw, I'm still in two minds whether to sell it!! I must be bloody barmy!! Quick some one call a doc!! Ok I admit I can't do burn outs to save my life! LOL But at least the new keeper can be rest assured, that its had a careful previous owner! Pig, ur the chap who tipped me off that this would be up for sale, on that cold nit up at Ace Cafe back in Jan at the Dragonball 06 DVD premmier nit up at an icey Ace Cafe, when JamieP blew his diff! LOL NOT AGAIN!! I reckon you should buy it and I will lease it back off you! Cheers mate
  18. Cheeky Git Lui, well done fella, all the hard work has paid off! I'm chuffed to bits for you. Its been in the work shop for two months, and Mark has done a pukka job. I'm sure you'll have a hell of a lot of sprited drives to shout about.
  19. Well done fella keep them comming.
  20. I heard its not illegal to use one of the jammers in the UK, but the rest of Europe there is a question mark. How much are these jammers? Sounds like it can really save ur bacon!
  21. [quote name=SBDJ Unfortunately lots of people are copying the lights already... [/quote] Thats a poor attempt if I ever saw one. Not sure if I agree with Clarkson on the light looking like some thing off a council estate. I've seen one in the flesh and it does look good. Totally agree, last weeks set a firm and high bench mark for 5th gear, and this weeks was a bit timmid. The star in a car, does any one really give a toss any more? Scrap it and show some more fottage. PS Did any know that the 911 Carrera 2S on todays show, was Hammonds actual own personal car? Cant believe he was really booting it today, getting it all sideways, and proper burning thoes tyes bald.
