  1. As the new owner of Ibrar Supra, I hate copy cats and feel that you should try to be creative and do it in a different style. May be try the arches with different spats. [ANGRY][/ANGRY]
  2. Total numbers are hard to tell so far, from the Furball forum, there are 7 so far sighed (inc me). But there will be more from Pistonheads forum coming along. As a rough figure say 20-50 cars from the UK and then there are the Dutch & German. In terms of numbers its hard to put a figure on it at the moment 1) TVR Tuscan s 2) TVR Cerbera 3) Diablo 4) TBC - 5) TBC 6) TBC 7) Toyota Supra TT
  3. Jspec Germany, I will forward the origional link as soon as I get it, just heard about this today. Just wondered how far is the Nurburgring from where we are harding? (Dutch/German border ) Is it likely to be on route?
  4. Hello all, I'm planning on going on the following trip and wondered if any of you lot fancy it? I was also contemplating the possibility of including a trip to the Nurburing during the weekend. After all its not every day you drive to German, and with the Autobahns it should not take too long to get there. Will post the original pistonheads tread link later this week. Cheers W For those that have not yet spotted this on pistonheads, our Dutch and German friends are organising a run up and down a few nice straight German autobahns with a couple of long tunnels thrown in for good measure too. The plan is for the UK contingent to make a weekend of it. Take the tunnel around 9 - 10 am on the Saturday morning, 'leisurely' drive the 300 miles to a hotel on the Dutch / German border. We plan to meet that evening for a few social drinks with our continental colleagues who I'm sure will make a warm welcome for us . The high speed action will start around 10:00 on the Sunday and then there will be a BBQ type lunch afterwards. We will head back for a late evening crossing between 8 - 10 pm on Sunday. The crossings are very cheap at this time of year - only £54 return. Dutchie is looking into accommdation with safe parking for us.
  5. Looks very nice, they'll set the car off nicely with the new respray

  10. Hello, welcome to our club :-)
  11. Just wondered what is the cause of this dramatic drop in price? Working in the motor trade, prices are dictated upon 2 factors 1) Supply 2)Demand Due to the face that the volume of sales of UK Supras in the UK was soo low, prices in the UK are dictated by imports from Japan. Currently clean Supra are becoming very rear and sought after in Japan. Hence prices are steadily rising. Speak to Jurgen or CJ to verify this. Hence I predict this will have a knock on effect in the UK, there are a lot of cheap Supra in the Autotrade & Ebay, but I expect they are the bottom end ones. Clean examples will always demand top money all day long. I think Supra have fallen some what in recent years, but feel until Toyota finally start selling the Mark V Supra in the UK & Japan, prices will tumble a little further. But I forecaster that prices will remain stable. My only concern is that you can pick up cheap NA & TT, will the image of Supra be tarnish, and will the flood gates open to Chavs and will the Supra be know as a Chav car? Like the Saxo?

  13. Hi you can count me in on this one. The forecast looks sunny tomorrow, so may even don the shades!! Is there any one coming from London or near by, that I can join a convoy? W
  14. If its 4 seats and similar performance to an S2000....then yes I would consider an RX8
  15. As you don't do much mileage a week, I would say an S2000 is a huge step down on power from a TT Supra, I would say an Evo or Impreza. Practical 4 seats with over 300 BHP on tap depending on which model u go for. I was soooo close to handing over £15k to an S2000 last year June until I drove the dam thing and realised what a huge drop in performance it really is. Yes TopGear rates it highly against its hugely more expensive posh German rivals. But it does drink petrol as u gotta always rev it nearer to the 8,000 rpm to feel the real kick and get any performance out of it. Also I would consider an RX8, BMW M3, I can pick up nice UK ones for £12k mark. Cheers Wayne
  16. Absolutely drop dead gorgeous, shame your selling it Chris, so what car are you getting next?
  17. Chaps I think the £2.5k is better spend as a contribution towards a huge B I G single Turbo!!

    ModBall 2007

Hi Chaps are any of you coming down to the Boxhill meet this Saturday?
  19. Nice one fella, I kinda know the emotions your going through, as I picked up the keys to my Supra only last week Friday, after nearly 10 months of searching for the right one. You've waited a long time and you've brought from one of the best sources JM-Imports. I've been told by count less Supra owners to take it easy for the first couple of weeks, best of luck and hope to catch up with you at some of the meets.

    Thanx to Ibrar

Ibrar, can't wait to see the blinged out Lexus
  21. Hi mate, I would say for tyres the first point of call should be Ibrar Jabbar, I'm sure he'll look after you. His listed under the Traders section, his number 0121 707 4554. Cheers W
