    How Much!

one very clean headlight, one very faded... "recent respray"... Id be looking at that car VERY carefully before buying it :S

    Blitz exhausts

i had the turbo version on my old uk spec. loved it. there was a flyby vid someone did of one of the supra pods years ago and my car had a lovely deep burble compared to some of the other tinny noises
  7. Just confirming I'm definitely not coming . I'm too ill for the trip to be enjoyable. Ellis. Can I still get a copy of the book. I'd like a read. Or if you have a PDF version or something I can have a look at.
  8. If anyone wants the space let me know sooner or later if it's not too late to change the reg number on the tunnel already. Otherwise if i don't drag myself along it's wasted!
  9. Looks like I won't be able to make it. My wife has had to stay back in the USA as she was too ill to fly back on Friday. I was starting to get sick but came back anyway as I had to go back to work today and I'm struggling with that. I'm not sure its going to clear up before Wednesday. It's knocked all the energy out of me and I can't even begin to think about getting the car ready let alone driving it all over europle
  10. Hi all. My ticket is maybe up for grabs if anyone wants it. it will be short notice though. I have a horrable cold thats realy draining me. my wife is still in the USA as she is too ill fly back and wont be returning now untill after dragonball. if im not feeling well enough to go by tuesday someone can have it.
  11. Well the car needed a bit of extra work (a new clutch slave cylinder) and i was due to get it back mid/late last week. Just a few days late for the bodyshop. But while it was there the rad decided to start leaking. So i figured id get that done at the same time as i had to wait for the parts anyway. They couldn't get a new oem rad, and having the old one re-cored was going to cost 400 quid. So i ordered an ally one they recommended. it arrived on Friday and they fitted it today. Except they didn't because it doesn't fit. its a mk4 manual rad. and apparently it looks ok. but it sits too high somehow. and without making custom brackets to hold it on the top it wont fit properly. So they called the place they sent my old rad off to. and they had managed to repair it rather than re-core it and it was sat in there stock. So i'm getting that back for a bit more than what my replacement ally one cost. Should arrive at the garrage tomorrow morning. Then i can pick the car up after work. Then go on holiday the day after. Cutting it close. But because its now a week and a bit past when i was supposed to put the car in for paint they don't have time to do it while i'm away. And i don't have time to drop it off to them anyway. I still haven't packed my suitcase...
  12. ah forgot about this. will do it now
  13. Been a while. For various reasons. But booked it in today. Goes in on the 3rd April. I'm away on hols in Florida then I have given them a final deadline to pick it up 8th may... 2 days before dragonball. Eeeep!
  14. maybe you guys are having problems because your cars are covered in layers of slippy car wax. and my car is covered in dirt and crud with 20 year old paint
  15. Quality last year was fine. Mine are still on the car and look good lol. As is my one from 2015
  16. yes they will only be sat on the car while its in the bodyshop for as long as my wheels take to get refurbed. ill keep you in mind, but will hang on a little incase someone has a set closer to avoid the 5 hour round trip x 2 none of my cars are particulary fuel efficient. so its a whack on fuel too.
  17. Perfect. I know they are into that kind of thing in Germany so the supplied accessories should be perfect
  18. Need to get my car in the body shop before dragonball. But also need to get my wheels refurbed. So I'm after a set of wheels that clear uk calipers. Need to be cheep ones with tyres I can buy or even a spare set I can borrow off someone.
  19. Then apparently there is a place called blue streak automotive in six fields. I don't know much about them. But homer recommends them. I think they are close to jam sport who do a lot of ford stuff. They would probably do a good job. Everything I've seen off them looked good. But no idea if they know much about Toyota.
  20. http://www.paragonauto.co.uk would be fine doing it. I've only ever had them change the ac copressor on my old legnum but they were very friendly. Have a nice workshop and work on a veriety of specialised cars. Silverstone garage in Silverstone (oddly enough) have done a lot of supra engine swaps in the past. If been going there with my cars for years. Jps motorsport in mk, never used but have been down there once to have a look around. They had a monster drag supra. Not sure if they still do. There are a couple of places in Wellingborough too apparently but I don't know them
  21. Sorry Burna. Didn't see the room type entry. Normal room for me and the wife.
  22. keep it up mate! always interesting to see this.
