Well. I filled up with fuel. Brimmed the tank to be sure. Car started but didn't sound happy. Barely ran, misfired. Backfired. I managed to get it out of the forcort and into the Tesco carpark. But it's not healthy. Won't idle for more than 10 seconds or so

Coop is out of 97 although the signs don't say they are. And there are no signs on the pumps. But all the 97 pumps are locked. I'm at Tesco. Who seem to be fine. Guy Infront of me just filled his car. 2 huge plastic containers and a Jerry can of diesel... Then put them on his back seat.

Iv been here since 5. Getting some food now then going on a petrol hunt.

Crossing my fingers I can get fuel with all the numpties panic buying. but it looks like there is a shell down the road. And an Asda and Sainsbury's if desperate as I'm down to a 1/4 tank. Think I was the first here. Or I didn't see anyone in the carpark. Got a meal booked for 6ish

Of all the routes where are the stops? I assume we are not stopping at Lauras diner and then driving for 13 mins and then stopping at mcdonalds? is it just a waypoint to navigate by? So we are stopping at Elan, The diner, then up the mountain?

I think iv discovered something with google. Me and my wife always share travel routes. She makes them. I drive them. So she will send them to me to have a look at. And we never have this wierd issue were it doesnt allow us to navigate. BUT Messing arround tonight i found this. (I use android but would assume these would work on apple) Take a route. Open the link on PC. Add a stop before the first one of "Your location" (I needed to do this on the pc as when i did this on mobile it added the stop at the bottom and couldnt move it) Share the link (3 horizontal lines in the top left and then the share button halfway down) and send it to yourself so you can open it on your phone. So, message yourself on facebook or email, whatever. Open that link on your phone. That will navigate you from your current location to the first waypoint where i assume it will then pick up the next one. I have NO IDEA why it does this. I assume it will only navigate from "current location" If you exit navigation on your phone and then remove the first waypoint you made, it changes the "start" button from navigation to "Preview" so we are back where we started... The problem with this is i cant share that on here as when you share it again it converts "my location" to a coordinate. And as much as i love the club i dont want you reprobates coming arround my house I have just used the tomtom app though and imported the routes. Seems to work fine.

Hi all. I have just come accross this post on reddit. It is a follow on from another post... here were the contents. Some details - p. Last logbook was issued 22 February 2021 Its currently taxed and mot'd. quite recently as its got 323 and 335 days left on them respectively. so its being used. MOT history shows it had a mot in 2016. then a gap till 2020 when it was mot'd and then again in 2021 as above. both with 0 fails and 0 advisorys, so seemingly in good health. infact its had basicly nothing wrong with it on most of its MOT's Its covered about 1600 miles per year between the last few mot's. You think we can find this car? I recognise it. But i cant pin down where from. I recognise the colour. wheel and brake combo. I feel like iv taken pictures of it MANY years ago at the turbofit meet. Its not Supradibs's car because its not aerotop. Its not a98pmalcolm's, again. Kit and wheels are different. I dont think its Gaz1's, its a different kit and tyre combo. His car went to germany. so it could have changed and come back. that does explain the gap in mot. And i dont think its Mas's

Midlands Meet!! Birmingham/Solihull Area.....
Guigsy replied to Glanza_Mike's topic in England - Midlands
World has been a bit preoccupied with NOT meeting up tbh so no there hasn't -
maybe. i wanted an rx7 but my dad said id never fit in one and should try a supra.... here i am

my dad towed a caravan with his mk3 when i was a kid. i spent many a holiday in the back seat untill i got too big Never seen a mk4 tow anything other than a trailer. apparently the hitch is a pain in the arse to mount because of the location of the fuel tank. Id guess on the car above its not an issue as the fuel tank is probably a fuel cell thats been relocaed a bit higher up.

Oh please. Your complaining about lack of events? Have you been living under a rock for the past year and a half? Before covid there were road trips and events. The Dragonball was the main one. We had ace cafe meets too. I'm pretty sure there was a nurburgring trip each year. But that not my kind of thing. Then we have had the s club party thing. The anniversary meets. The meet when the Mk5 launched. I forget which show it was but it was held at the NEC we attended each year too. And several others. Many of these. Dragonball and the sclub party are, as far as I know subsidised by the club, and the organisers take a lot of time doing things from car graphics. To map routes, to welcome packs. As well as coralling a bunch of idiots arround Europe. The reason there are less people using the forum than 5 years ago? Supra prices. These are not £2k Na's any more. They are 10k Na's. People who have even 7k for a rough na auto are gonna buy something else. Something newer and something faster. And the people who REALY want a supra have the money to wait and buy the car they actually want. More people are selling cars and less people are buying. It's got nothing to do with the structure of the club or those running it. And all these positions like executives and it managers and social media people etc. Where are we going to get them? (We have some of them already, but whatever) From this forum that apparently doesn't care and has no activity? At that rate nyone who uses the forum will be a board member in some way. Branners is our chief. Manages a lot of the club stuff. Has done for many years and does the social media. And I think does a damn good job. Mawby does some of the IT stuff and is the reason we have this new forum. In my opinion the club shouldn't be a business. I don't want your endless email and Facebook posts about membership or events. The forum is somewhere I want interesting posts. Knowledge articles.help posts. Posts about meets. Facebook is fine. But it's shit and a great number of things. I hate selling or buying on there. Nobody puts up a fucking price and if they do it's £2000 for a 3 spoke steering wheel. Or 500 quid for a dash panel. It's ok to announce meets and stuff but bad at other things unless you create a separate group for the meet. And God forbid this club ever gets a fucking ticktock account... If I see "is that a supra" on any social media anywhere. I instantly downvote or angry react or whatever. It's so fucking annoying. Facebook is also crap at help articles and knowledge things. Because once any time passes you can't find them. Same for pictures. Just the other day I was looking through my posts on here grabbing pictures of my old cars I didn't have from 10 years ago. A post from 8 years ago made me realise my alternator was gone. You don't get that with Facebook. The post about brake lines rotting through (happened to me) people also occasionally post in and that's been there god knows how long. Again. Something Facebook can't provide. And what happens if for some reason Facebook goes away. Without the forum we wouldn't have anything. Facebook is important. But so is this site. I think the site runs fine. I don't use it as much as I did. But it's because I don't need to. Announce events on Facebook. Link people to the forum for more info and discussion. I'm sure the mods and people running the site would like some help. But we don't need to wipe the slate. Or restructure everything or run it like a business. This is a place of community. Not a business. I think that would be a bad route to take.

i struggled for months to sell my uk spec almost 10 years ago. i think i let it go for 5.5/6k or something in the end. i did have decent miles on it though. then i baught a 6 speed single project race car with no interior for i think 7k that i rebuilt the head on and put in an interior and made a driveable car again. i have no idea what its worth now. probably 20-30k
-
i watched this the other day. Im sure there are more than 2 in the uk. If this is one. I know of at least another (the 26 car already mentioned in this thread) and i know of car #5. And yes, its definately the #5 car. iv seen it several times. know who owns it. iv seen the vin plate. Its a genuine car. Even tried to track down the old owner and buy it off him when the car was sat left to seemingly rot. but the car has since changed hands and is being restored as far as i know. It would be interesting to try and create a register like we have for UK cars.

nice to see you back jamie. looks a bit like mine does before you washed it

i had trouble getting through to sky. i tried the next day and got through first time. they did say they have staff on furlough because of covid etc. i just paid my renewal as it was reasonable and i cant be arsed pissing arround playing the games. so i dont know about the agreed value problems.

from memory uk spec cats are different bolt patern? (3 rather than 2?) i could be wrong though. the previous owner of mine gave me the cats with the car. and i kept them and gave them awa with the car too when i sold it because they are a bit difficult to get hold of. your other option is to find somewhere friendly who will let the emissions slide...

My wierd setup that has evolved over the past few months. Origonaly just my gaming rig with 3 screens its now... Laptop. with a mouse plugged in. I was given it by work but i hate it and i dont have the correct adapter to plug in another screen. An IP phone. Left and Middle screen plugged into my work machine i took from the office with a keybord and mouse. Middle and Right screen plugged into my non work pc. with another keybord and mouse. This is a gaming keybord and sucks to type on compared to my office one. I switch the middle screen between the 2 pc's with the monitor input options as i have 2 cables going into it, one hdmi and one display port. It means i dont have to swap cables arround all the time when i finish work and play games in the evening . I spent ages looking for display port KVM switch with enough inputs but they were rediculously expensive. So this is my compromise
