  1. i had a set that i had retrimmed in creame leather and alcantara and a blue recaro stitch logo for my old uk spec car. gibson trimming did it in brilliant quality leather. and they were expensive just for the trimming job. about 700 just for the trim. worth it though. not sure how that helps. but good luck
  2. i literaly had no idea these were going on sale. my sub to this thread seems to have dissapeared any idea when the next batch is?
  3. The oem ones were on facelift models and came in "wood" and "carbon". They don't cover the shifter pannel. And are just stuck on with double sided tape stuff. They are just a patterned plastic cover. my facelift had one. Didn't like it much so took it off
  4. Just feed it into the intake with a couple of cable ties and some garden hoze. Should sort it.
  5. Think iv seen that arround. Recognise the plate.
  6. Your not allowed/supposed to use them on the strip. Water drips off. Onto the track and then you spoil it for everyone.
  7. Don't see the appeal of an aero myself. Just get a tt hard top manual and have a less bendy car
  8. I had a blue bracket thing on my old car. It did help the feel. I got one for my old uk car but let it in the garage then lost a bolt and never bothered I should get another
  9. Iv got one. Even tells you where the boot release it.
  10. uk brakes feel crap compared to my old clio. those were very sharp. on/off the uk ones and jspecs even. have more progressive feel to them. but if you stamp on em they work. thats the idea
  11. Heated seats only came on uk spec cars iirc. So they are an aftermarket addition. Or you have a uk car. The vin plate will tell you. Japanese writing... Jspec. Don't forget. A lot of these cars although stock looking could be swapped arround. It's very easy to change interiors and brakes etc.
  12. Ah ok. You all look the same to me
  13. Wasn't it your car pig tried to light a fag on recently? or was that just another "generic silver" car
  14. It's all about sell image. If you care about your hair style then it's something you worry about. But I don't see the point trying to hide it. At some point your going to have to "come out" I'm loseing my hair. Comfortable with the fact. It's been going since I was about 25. But iv had the same haircut since I was about 10. Couldn't give a toss about making it look nice. It's lucky if it gets combed. Mostly because it's kept so short it doesn't need it.
  15. Everyone has coins. Yes. It is apparently a "luck" thing. But think about it. Coins fall out of your pocket all the time in cars. It's probably just they got dropped and never picked up rather than anything else
  16. Everyone always wants the big single. If I were to sell my current single six speed I'd go back to a bpu auto. My single has spent more time in the garage being fixed or on my driveway broken waiting to be fixed. My bpu was faultless.
  17. Yes. Sort of. It was on the road untill dragonball but I somehow managed to cook the clutch on the last day. And since it got worse and worse. So now it's sat on the drive with a flat battery and a clutch with hardly any bite point which slips like hell. Need to get my ass in gear and sort it out.
  18. Took me over a year to sell my uk spec auto for about 6k. Paint was in good nick, mechanically good. I'd just spent 1000 on having all the brake lines replaced. First person to view the car bought it. It was still too cheep IMO. P.s it's for sale again. You should buy it. Cracking car.
  19. I wonder under the freedom of information act you can request how many other people were fined for the same thing by that force
  20. good luck mate. id buy it back in an instant. starting to miss my auto box.
  21. I was thinking availability. Can't be many arround that are cheep to get.
