  1. Here is mine on my AEM. no fancy antilag setting. just sat blipping the throttle. No flames just a big a crackle. Not sure id get any flames with a whifbitz 2 box setup. [video=youtube;Un-oETrb3uY]
  2. yeah forgot to mention. fuses are fine. guages are fine and all light up. just no cig lighter power or guage cluster lights :S Have put the dash back together now as its dragonball in a few days. But want to get it sorted at some point. I might have the dash appart again tomorrow anyway as i haven't had any air from my right side airvent since i remove the guage from it. must have been blocked off.
  3. I'm trying to sort out why my cig lighter doesn't work and also maybe why my dash lights don't work. As seems to be the case with most supras I own it's a bloody rats best of wires and I don't really know what I'm looking at. I have the L shaped plug with a blue/red and white/black wire going into it. The white/black one has a connector on it which just connects to more white/black. Like it should have something else in there The blue/red splits 2 times. Once into a pink cable that seems to join another set of 4 cables. One of which disappears down the passenger footwell. The other end goes behind the dash cluster somewhere. This set of wires has a blue wire. This one is just not connected. The other split goes to a green wire about 4 inches long. Also not connected. Any ideas?
  4. That's what my aem does. Does your head in after a while. Then you get used to it. Mine does it on over run. But if I dip the clutch It stops. So I can drive in and out of my road without everyone complaining
  5. thats the one i was looking at. cheers Unfortunately its not available anywhere near me. ill see whats on amazon The more i read the more i get confused about bloody tomtom. advice on the forum says avoid anything with a model number ending in 2 if you want itn files. which the XXL i can find on amazon seems to have, So im not confident to blow 80 quid on one. So i think im just going to go for a garmin. there website, which is a million times more helpful than the crappy tomtom one says that "The nuvi, LIVE, zumo, Camper/RV, and dezl products have the ability to load GPX files to add more waypoints, tracks and routes." So i think a nuvi 56LM 5" should do me fine.
  6. I have but all the info is from 2012/13 which doesn't help me with current models. And none of the spec sheats list anything with itn files. And the halfords site doesn't mention specific model numbers or what I'm buying. People seem to say the xxl does it. But again. That's info from 2 years ago
  7. Branners - any clues on what new satnavs accept the route files. I know some older ones do. Mine doesn't and it's a tomtom that's a few years old so I'm thinking about getting a new one if I can get one that will take them
  8. Interesting. I was in France (flew) last week and they didn't want any of that!
  9. Buy a load of these and put one on the roof of his car every morning http://www.vegetablesinfo.com/images/yam.png
  10. Would just like to give a MASSIVE public thank you from myself and my wife to SteveM for offering me he ticket as he will unfortunately be unable to attend. Its a shame we wont get to see his awesome car and that it will be replaced with my far from perfect one but im over the moon. Plenty to get done now! including clean out the back seat from last year (yes!) its even still got the stickers on it.
  11. I had this exact same problem. Took us ages to work out what was going on. I had 3 wires in the boss and 2 prongs on the horn but the stock wheel has just 1 wire. And no combinations worked. After we worked it out I saw 2 of my wires in the loom that came with the boss went nowhere. If your horn has 2 prongs like mine then plug the wire in the boss to one prong and then take another bit of wire (The wire from your old stock wheel has a nice connector already) from the other prong and earth it somewhere. I trapped it under the big central nut that holds the boss on. The stock horn works like this. (I'm no electrician btw) The wheel has a single connector to a moving frame attached to the central section of the wheel. That then connects to another metal bit completing the circuit when you press it. So the horn goes off. The connection to earth is already there. But your wheel doesn't have that it's just a button that makes the connection for you. So you need to give it something to connect to, like an earth. That triggers the horn. The earth is going to be anything metal. You can test where works with a wire. Not sure if you only have one prong though. Sorry.
  12. Me 2. Guigsy, northampton, 6 speed single
  13. But I did dbv2 last year as dbv1 For me it's about seeing new places rather than just driving arround.wont be able to fit in 2 db's next year
  14. I'm after a ticket mate. Last min is ok with me if the big man in charge can get the details changed for the tunnel and hotel. . Happy to take any ticket available.
  15. Iirc that vid above was land cruiser running gear and engine. It's not a 2jz
  16. Doesn't affect me branners but what about people who are passengers but want their own room? So 2 rooms 1 car. I guess there will have to be a room only option. But you know people will still cock it up Wife asked me if there an official waiting list? Or is it just post here and hope someone reads it. It would be nice if we had a proper list that someone could moderate. I think that would be better than someone not being able to attend so selling his ticket to his mate. Who wasn't bothered in trying to buy a ticket in the first place. when people like me desperately want a ticket but didn't manage to get one. Or is it a case that people should be free to do what they like with unwanted tickets?
  17. i was making food in the kithen and the alarm on my phone i had set was in the livingroom. It was on silent too. which wouldnt have been an issue. ut it wasnt in my pocket. i only realised arround 5 past. by the time i turned on my laptop they had gone.
  18. Yep. well i missed the last set aswell. So if anyone decides they cant go ill buy the ticket from them. The wife is realy dissapointed as she couldnt go on the last trip to holand because of pasport issues, and she has never been so was looking forward to it
  19. i know. my point was more of a sarcastic "nobody else does so why should i bother" guess that didnt come accross
  20. i know im in the middle of a massive table flip moment and pissed off at the world... if you have booked a train ticket cant you make it not do it without putting in your reg number and forum name. make it a required field. it will save the admins work. At the moment it seems like the only way to get a ticket in time is by not filling out the form properly. or booking a hotel ticket with no trian ticket or vice versa. So, just so you know Steve. when the next round of tickets comes arround im not putting in my reg number or forum name. ill just pm you after. as a) nobody else seems to bother anyway from what you say earlier in the thread and b) because if i take the time to put it in like i did this time i wont get a ticket. i know its a bit of a crappy thing to and give you more work. but to me that seems to be the best way of getting a ticket...
  21. Sod this. supra for sale. its in my garage on here with all the details. make me and offer. white single turbo. its got a broken clutch and has been sat on my driveway for 6 months. but otherwise its fine. No point even trying for the last sent of tickets because i apparenty read the web page properly and book all the components i need and put in my reg number in first time properly rather than mash my face against the keybord and get a ticket. cant be arsed with this any more. yes. 100% serious. make me an offer on the car.
  22. what. this is rediculous. im sat ther bashing f5 every 5 seconds. i type everything in as fast as i can. as it still sells out. how. how any anyone do that faster than i was. how many tickets were released? 2? Edit by admin to remove swearing.
