  11. i have just changed the coilpack on my supra to see if it solves my cutting out problem but it didnt , so now i have my original one for sale which works fine , open to offers as dont know what they are worth used , its from a 94 import n/a
  12. good idea, ill get some silicon hose for it tomorrow, it does look very old and stale lol
  13. i think i have the problem sorted now, it was the map sensor, the vacuum pipe from the inlet manifold was loose it was coming up with codes 31 and 42 but 31 is afm which the j-spec n/a doesnt have but its equivalent is the map sensor, ive pushed the pipe fully on and it is running nicely now lets see if it lasts
  14. hi im after the small warning light cluster that sits on the right hand side of the top of the dash , its the one that has engine warning and oil as in the pic below http://img4.glowfoto.com/images/2009/07/05-1132184639T.jpghttp://img4.glowfoto.com/images/2009/07/05-1132228887T.jpg cheers
  15. it depends on what paint you use if using high solid paint then no, if using basecoat then yes as it requires a laquer , the basecoat itself is very weak and would chip/scratch/peel very easily without clearcoat for example if you went to halfrauds and bought an aerosol can of 202 then you will definately need to laquer as the paint they supply in aerosol is basecoat solid colour means it is a high solid (paint it on, let it dry , polish it ) clear over base means you must apply a clearcoat laquer onto the colour
  16. definately sounds very similar to what mine is doing . lets hope we can both get sorted homer ive tried checking for error codes, ive bridged e1 and Te1 but the big orange light with the exclamation mark just stays light, doesnt flash or anything just a fixed light
  17. im having a few issues with my car its an l-reg import n/a manual basically it will be driving fine , then all of a sudden everytime i stop and press in the clutch the revs will drop and it stalls, then when i start it again it will drive a bit spluttery , then suddenly clear up again and be fine until i stop again and press the clutch in again:search: also i have tried to do a fault diagnosis but the orange light on the rev counter just stays permanently lit up, doesnt flash at all just constantly lit , it stays lit up even when i havnt got E1 and TE1 bridged help me please, im thinking maybe fuel filter blocked as i ran it very low on fuel and had to coast into the petrol station how possible is this that it is the problem
  18. should my carbon cannister be hissing/bubbling the car is starting to be a bit of a pain , the revs keep dropping and stalling then when i restart it it is running on just 4/5 cylinder, but i noticed that the carbon cannister it bubbling, and when i remove the pipe and refit it the car runs well again any advice off people if this is the problem and if so what sort of money is a new one etc thanks
  19. i read about these coins about 5-6 months ago and have been checking my change since, they were selling on ebay for £100+ a few months ago,
  20. a few weeks ago i caught someone with a 12" screwdriver trying to break into the wifes subaru , i grabbed my freind the aluminium baseball bat and chased him around the estate the police turned up and saw me walking around with a baseball bat in my hands, all they said was that as long as its for self defence its fine
