  1. I once owned an NA which didnt have half the issues you are describing. I'm guessing I would not have seen the snaking due to the power difference but cannot remember a time where i understeered at 20mph. Sounds like you may have a more serious issue with your car if it's doing this.
  2. Well deserved. Looks like a ton of effort went into that car...possibly the best interior i've ever seen on a car, never mind a Supra.
  3. This is generally my thought. I've had an NA 5-speed before and loved every minute of it, and as much as I would love a TT, i'd rather have some money spare to properly look after the car. I can always NA-T, Transplant a TT later down the line.
  4. Ha, nothing wrong with Dreadlocks! Plus I think it's a shave head job if I want to get rid of them! - - - Updated - - - As stated i've got £5,000 and seen quite a few decent NA's knocking about for around the £3,000 mark.
  5. Right, in what seems like an eternity, waiting for my Impreza to sell, i'm torn between two options. I'll be looking to spend about £5,000 on a Supra, and while a few people have been saying A TT Auto is within reach, I have also been told I could get a very good NA and then chuck some money into it. So the question is, if you had an NA and had £2,000 to throw at it, what would you do?
  6. I dont' think the GT86 is aimed at the 370Z at all. After driving a GT86 at my local dealer and being EXTREMELY disappointed with the lack of grunt (everything else about the car was great though) I think they were aiming at the MX-5 sort of range. Similar price and performance figures.
  7. I could be completely wrong on this, but people keep mentioning that it will be comptition for the new GT-R. If I remember the MKIV was released as competition to the 300ZX and not the Skyline, therefore is it wrong to think the Supra could be aimed more at the 370Z market? Food for thought.
  8. It's still for sale and I have enquired, but as I have not got the money right now to invest and I feel it may be sold before I do, I was just enquiring how to go about this. Does anyone know where you can pick these engine's up? keron maybe? Or is it just a case of keeping your eyes open and getting lucky?
  9. I'm hoping to make my return to the Supra world any day now, and i've been looking around and have become more and more intrigues with the idea of swapping the 2JZ out for a 1UZ...but I wouldn't know where to start. Where would you even get one from? Any advice on how much effort and time this would take as well would be grately appreciated. Thank you
  10. BPU sounds nice, hehe, I shall see what's around! Yeah I know you all said it! I know I know! Hhmmm.......I shall have to have a look at the Supra immediately. Still for sale if you're interested
  11. Thanks i'll take a look Just need to get Rid of the Impreza first. Know anyone looking by any small chance?
  12. Hi guys, As the title reads, I sold my Red 96 Facelift NA just over a year ago and I miss it so much. I currently have an Impreza which i'm trying to get rid of: http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-vans-motorbikes/2006-subaru-impreza-wrx-hawkeye/1001909298 but unfortunately nodoby's biting I've looked around and the price seems to be good for what it is. Is the car market just dead at the moment? Any advice? Hopefully when this is sold i'll have about £5,000 to get back in the Supra game. Is it reasonable to be looking at a TT auto for this sort of money? Any advice welcome. Thank you.
  13. Damn you subaru...just sell so i can buy this! Sell!
  14. Woolacombe? Damn was in Ilfracombe not long a go and would have loved to come check it out. I know i'm looking for an N/A again but at this price my head is scratching!
