Damn, no 200mph runs for supras today then (except in texas ). Better luck next year guys. I'm shooting for 200mph also. Too bad for Jamies turbo letting go. I would have really wanted to see a clean run.

Excellent result! Can you tell me by what RPM is full boost reached? 33psi around 6500rpm I would guess? Also are you using nitrous to help the spool? Thanks

I painted my KE70 with the hammerite silver and the paint job looks awful compared to my supra which I painted using proper ppg paint. I used a paint gun with the hammerite because the only good thing about this paint is that it's cheap and prevents rust well. Buying this stuff in spray cans seems stupid to me but what do I know. It cost me £20 to paint my car with the hammerite so it's quite cheap if a paint gun is used. Using spray cans will cost about ten times as much.

Yes it was 322km/hr which is just over 200mph (200.08mph). The incar video failed because of a user error. My instructions on how to use the gopro were also not so good. Krister did 200mph today in a standing mile event here in Finland. I guess that's the new unofficial European record for supras. At least for now.. There was also a very fast C5 corvette which did 210mph.

Give them a break guys. It's very difficult to win when half of the goals you make don't get recognized I personally feel that it would have been a totally different ball game if the referee had done his job correctly. If the score had been 2-2 (as it should have) I'm pretty sure England would have played more defensively and perhaps they would have even won. I guess we'll never know.. -

Where and when is the next standing mile event in UK? Too bad the swedes don't have standing mile races yet. There should be some pretty fast supra's there. Björck's supra for example. I guess you already know that one. Should be a fast standing mile car since the trap speeds are so high in the 1/4mile.

Yeah standing mile races are all about the trap speed so the time doesn't matter. It's nice to know the time for reference though. Yes

If I remember correctly it was 29 seconds. I had to let off early because my water temparature began to rise. They say I let off at the 1450m (0.9mile) mark. So I didn't get a clean run but I was happy with the 186mph still.

So I guess here are the results we have so far for Europe: The best mkiv supras in standing mile: UK: 198mph Estonia: 194mph Finland: Me 186mph (mk3 197mph) Russia (europe? ): 180mph Oh and swedes haven't had any standing mile events so they are out. So as far as we know Lee has the fastest standing mile supra in Europe. I don't think there has been any standing mile events in Greece, Italy, France and such. Don't know about Germany though.
